In a clash of titans on the final day of VCT Pacific Stage 1, Paper Rex and Gen.G battled fiercely in a Bo5 showdown to determine the champion of VCT Pacific.

After an intense struggle spanning all five maps, Paper Rex emerged triumphant, reclaiming the prestigious title of VCT Pacific Champions.

Paper Rex 3-2 Gen.G

The match unfolded as a nail-biting saga of momentum swings and strategic prowess. Gen.G kicked things off by clinching victory on Lotus, a map picked by Paper Rex.

Undeterred, Paper Rex swiftly retaliated by securing a win on Sunset, Gen.G's favored terrain.

The pendulum swung once more in Paper Rex's favor as they dominated on Icebox, seizing the series lead.

Gen.G, however, demonstrated resilience by clinching a victory on their chosen battleground of Bind, setting the stage for a tense finale on Split.

As the decisive map commenced, Gen.G gained an early advantage on defense. Yet, Paper Rex refused to yield, maintaining a tight contest throughout the half. Despite Gen.G managing to take the lead, Paper Rex rallied spectacularly in the second half, showcasing an impregnable defense.

With an impressive display of coordination and skill, Paper Rex secured victory on Split, clinching the championship with a commanding 13-8 scoreline.

Wang "Jinggg" Jie of Paper Rex emerged as the MVP of the Grand Finals, showcasing exceptional performance throughout the series.
