Ahead of the CS2 IEM Cologne Major 2026, Valve has released an update that completely overhauls the CS2 Major hub, tournament stickers, and souvenir skins.

With the update, souvenir packages and sticker capsules are removed from the game. Now, you can directly buy the stickers from the Major shop inside the hub and convert any weapon into a Souvenir.

No more Souvenir Packages or Sticker Capsules

Souvenir Packages and sticker capsules have always been a big part of the CS Major tournament drop pool. Now, they are completely gone. Starting the upcoming CS2 IEM Cologne Major 2026, the in-game Major hub will be overhauled to accommodate the upcoming changes

For starters, Valve is introducing Cologne 2026 tokens to replace the Souvenir tokens. Players who buy and activate the Cologne Viewer pass can earn up to 300 Cologne 2026 tokens by upgrading the Challenge coin. These tokens can be used to buy Major stickers or souvenir weapons.

As a replacement for the sticker capsule, CS2 Major Hub will now feature “The 2026 Cologne Major Shop,” which lets you buy stickers for your favorite player directly from the shop.

To buy a sticker from the 2026 Cologne Major shop:

  • Navigate and enter the new CS2 Major hub
  • Navigate and enter the 2026 Cologne Major shop
  • From here, you can search for your favorite team and check out the sticker variants for an individual player/team.
  • Add the stickers you like to the cart
  • The price of stickers will depend on their demand, meaning the higher the demand, the higher the sticker price.
  • If you do not have enough Cologne 2026 tokens, you can buy them. (100 tokens = $0.99)

More details about the Major Shop renovation and how this all works can be found in the following FAQ

To make a Cologne 2026 Souvenir Weapon:

  • Navigate and enter the new CS2 Major hub
  • Choose any normal or souvenir-quality weapon in your inventory
  • Choose any completed match and one of the players in the match for which you want the souvenir.
  • Confirm and pay the price in Cologne 2026 tokens (Dynamically priced based on demand for the applied stickers)
  • Get your weapon back in Souvenir quality with gold team, autograph, and map stickers applied

The Pick’Em Challenge will remain the same. Follow Strafe in case you need a refresher on how to play, the rewards, and more.

The last small yet consequential change with the update is that souvenir skins can now also be used for trade-ups, shaking up their valuation. Monitor the market in the upcoming few days if you have some souvenir skins lying around.
