New 2XKO Fuse Teamfight and Duo Features Arrive May 12

New 2XKO Fuse Teamfight and Duo Features Arrive May 12

Riot Games announced Patch 1.2.1 for 2XKO, scheduled for May 12. The update brings a new 2XKO Fuse, an in-game duo finder, voice chat, and the start of Season 2.

New 2XKO Fuse: Teamfight

The new 2XKO Teamfight Fuse puts both champions on screen and playable at the same time for seven seconds. Both players spend one meter bar each to activate it. The input is T + any Normal attack button: L, M, or H.

Solo players can also run Teamfight, controlling both characters from one controller. Hold T to return focus to the point character at any moment.

How to Play Against Teamfight

A duo using Teamfight loses access to Tag Launcher, Assists, Break, and Ultimates for the full duration. Defenders can cut the window short in two ways: any hit landed on either Teamfighting character trims the timer, and a successful Ultimate against the point or assist character ends it immediately.

The Teamfighting Assist character only hits mid, which limits its offensive range and forces the attacking duo to work for creative angles.

Find Duo and Voice Chat

A new "Find Duo" button on the invite screen lets players search for a partner who also wants to pair up. Once in a duo, voice chat is available through Settings > Text & Voice Chat by turning on "Duo Voice Chat." Both players need the setting enabled for it to connect automatically.

Season 2 and Ranked Reset

Season 2 starts on May 12 alongside the patch. A new Battle Pass includes skins and avatar items. All players receive a soft ranked reset. Riot has not announced a release date for Senna, the next champion. Full 1.2.1 patch notes drop next week.
