Liquid is in the midst of an ambitious overhaul of its roster, aiming to catapult themselves to the top tier of competitive CS2. The latest buzz in the esports world suggests that the Canadian sensation, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, is set to make a sensational comeback to his former team, Team Liquid. Twistzz, who had also been in talks with Vitality, has decided to rejoin his old home, as per a report by Dust2.us.

Rumors, Rebuild, and CadiaN on the Horizon

Amid a flurry of rumors surrounding Liquid's upcoming roster revamp, earlier speculations linked Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Felipe "skullz" Medeiros to the North American organization. Additionally, Liquid has reportedly welcomed back former coach Wilton "zews" Prado into the fold, further reinforcing their commitment to rebuilding a formidable lineup. While Twistzz's return to the team will steal the spotlight, cadiaN, the Danish CS talent, is reportedly on the verge of signing with Liquid. Although no contracts have been officially inked, a verbal agreement has been reached. This potential addition has led to Josh "oSee" Ohm exploring alternative opportunities. However, the final composition of the roster remains a work in progress, leaving OSee's fate uncertain.

A Return to Glory Days

Twistzz's anticipated return to Liquid is bound to be met with fervent excitement from fans. He was a key member of the roster that dominated the CS:GO scene in the middle of 2019, securing a remarkable five elite tournament victories in a row, along with the prestigious Intel Grand Slam. During this era, Liquid ascended to the pinnacle of world rankings.

Twistzz's departure from Liquid in early 2021 marked his journey to Europe. Where he joined FaZe and continued to add numerous Big Event trophies to his collection. Including another Intel Grand Slam victory. And, most recently, clinching the title of 2-time IEM Sydney Champion.

The Prospective Lineup

If all the pieces fall into place as rumored, Liquid's roster would once again be primarily composed of North American talents. Positioning them to participate in the Americas RMR for the upcoming PGL CS2 Major in Copenhagen. The projected lineup would consist of:

- Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken

- Keith "NAF" Markovic

- Felipe "skullz" Medeiros

- Casper "cadiaN" Møller

- Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis

Former Liquid Coach Wilton "zews" Prado would take on the role of coach, bringing valuable expertise to the team's dynamics.

What Lies Ahead?

As Liquid continues its quest for dominance in the CS2 arena, all eyes are on the team's revamped roster. The return of Twistzz and the potential addition of cadiaN might herald another new era of dominance for the organization. Fans and analysts alike eagerly await their debut and the outcomes they may bring to the table.
