The never-ending clash of the titans is a tale as old as time. There have been many MOBA titles over the years, but only two stand out as the best in the genre: League of Legends and DOTA. Now, get ready to witness a gaming experience like no other. A user made a mod allowing him to play League of Legends in DOTA, thanks to a unique community game mode crafted by the ingenious Meeponegeroi. This mode brings a fresh twist to the familiar gameplay, offering a unique experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Meeponogeroi made League of Legends VS DOTA 2 during the latter stages of 2023. Where on one side, you have the LoL side, and on the other, you have DOTA. The LoL side has one half of the iconic Summoner's Rift, with all it has to offer, from jungle camps to objectives such as the Drake, Baron Nashor, and even down to the turrets and Nexus. For the LoL side, you can choose from select LoL champions, such as Yasuo, Ahri, Jinx, and more!

Items

What's even more impressive is that Meeponegeroi managed to make it so the LoL side has the same User Interface as in their own game, as well as the same items. However, on the DOTA 2 side, you have the classic map with the same jungle camps, towers, and so on. However, some items have been prohibited from play to allow for fairness and balance. This unique feature of the game mode, where certain items are removed, significantly alters the gameplay strategy. Making it a fresh and intriguing experience. As LoL doesn't have items for detection, Shadowblade and Glimmer's Cape have been removed. As well as "misses" being removed, meaning champs and heroes can no longer miss attacks! Making items like Butterfly essentially useless.

Meeponegeroi even brought together popular League of Legends and DOTA players in one of his videos showcasing this game mode! He featured players from LoL, such as Lev "Nomanz" Yakshin, Starkycast, Unholey, Teamless, and Yury "FlashInTheNight" Shilenkov. As for the DOTA players, he got Gleb "y0nd" Vazhnov, Satanic, Kamil "Koma`" Biktimirov, Vladislav "DKFogas" Frolov, and meowsonic! Their participation adds a whole new level of excitement to this game mode.

Hopefully, you'll be able to play this mode yourself in the future. But for now, he made it as an experiment with no public access.
