With the arrival of VALORANT Patch 11.06, Riot Games will finally introduce the most requested feature to the game, the Replay System.

Starting September 16/17, players can download match VODs to analyze and review them in-game.

How to Access Match Replays?

To access your match replays for any game played on the live patch (i.e. Patch 11.06) you will need to:

  • Complete a Match
  • On the Match Details Page > Navigate to the Download Replay Icon
  • Once the Replay File is downloaded, you can load into your Replay

To watch replay of older games

  • Navigate to Career
  • Find the match you wish to download Replay for
  • Click on the Replay Icon to Download
  • Once downloaded, you can load into the Replay

Currently, only Unrated, Competitive, Swiftplay and Premier modes support replays. Custom Matches and Scrims do not support the feature.

Once you have downloaded the replay, you can observe games from all 10 perspectives and a free observer cam. The controls for the Replay file are as follows:

  • Enable/disable player outlines
  • Enable/disable the ability to follow projectiles
  • Speed up/Slow down replays
  • Play/Pause
  • Round Skips
  • Show/Hide minimap and HUD

Unfortunately, there is no ability to share replays, meaning watching replays of a pro-game is still far away.

When Will the VALORANT Replay System Update Release?

The Replay System will be released with patch 11.06 later today, September 16 at 09:00 am PT. Replays will be available in China with patch 11.07b on October 9, and Console starting with Patch 11.10 on November 11.
