With VCT 2024 on the horizon, the FUT Esports Valorant division has announced the addition of Mehmet “cNed” İpek and Eray “yetujey” Budak. cNed will replace Konur “qw1” Şahin as the team’s duelist, and Yetujey will take up Buğra “MOJJ” Kiraz’s Sentinel duties on the team.

The 17 y.o’s addition to FUT Esports was previously part of a young and upcoming Turkish Valorant roster in Fire Flux Esports. He played alongside the newest Team Heretics addition, Mert “Wo0t” Alkan.

Fire Flux Esports was one of the best-performing rosters in Turkey. Along with Wo0t and Volkan “sociablEE” Yonal were the team’s best performing members. While the team could not qualify for the VCT EMEA Ascension, it was a playoff contender and qualified for both the playoffs.

The young Turks’ addition to FUT Esports brings the much-needed firepower to the Sentinel role. The final duelist change might be a surprise as qw1 wasn’t necessarily a bad duelist but struggled with inconsistency.

The cNed rumor has been making rounds for a while. cNed was previously part of Natus Vincere, one of the toughest teams to beat in EMEA and internationally, but the team did not meet the expectations created when the team was announced. Natus Vincere announced cNed's departure earlier this week.

cNed’s addition to the FUT Valorant squad will elevate the team’s performance. FUT Esports have been a strong contender in EMEA, and the additional international experience with cNed will benefit their games.

With cNed and yetujey, the VCT 2024 FUT Esports Valorant roster is:

The roster will debut tomorrow at the Red Bull Home Ground #3 EMEA qualifier alongside the new Team Heretics.

VALORANT does not offer crossplay between PC and console. While there is no crossplay in VALORANT, the game does support cross progression, which means that your account, skins, and any other form of progress carry from one platform to the other (from PC to console, and vice versa).
