Former VALORANT Champion and ex-Sentinels player Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi has joined Brazilian organization MIBR as a content creator. With this move, Sacy embarks on a new chapter in his career, months after announcing his departure from competitive esports and Sentinels.

A Brazilian Esports Legend

A legend in his own right, Sacy began his esports career in Riot Games’ biggest offering, League of Legends. While his League career didn’t reach the same heights, he still secured podium finishes in CBLOL, Brazil’s top league. In 2020, he saw an opportunity in Riot’s tactical shooter and made the switch to VALORANT.

Under the Team Vikings banner, Sacy represented Brazil at the first international VALORANT event. But his rise to stardom was only beginning. At the start of 2022, Sacy, alongside pANcada, Aspas, Less, and Saadhak, qualified for VCT Brazil Stage 1. The team was soon picked up by LOUD and quickly became a powerhouse. That year, LOUD dominated the scene—winning VCT Brazil Stage 1 and 2, securing second place at Masters Reykjavik 2022, and ultimately claiming the VALORANT Champions 2022 title.

In 2023, Sacy joined Sentinels, but the results didn’t follow. The team struggled, and it wasn’t until 2024 that Sentinels made a true comeback. That year, they kicked off the season with a dominant win, with Sacy defeating his former teammates in the finals. Sentinels continued their success by winning the Madrid Masters 2024 and finishing fourth at VALORANT Champions 2024.

Following the conclusion of VALORANT’s season, Sacy announced his retirement from competing.

What’s Next?

With the move, Sacy looks to expand his personal brand while representing one of Brazil’s most legendary esports organizations.

MIBR aims to leverage Sacy’s influence, as he has captivated fans both in Brazil and globally. With his deep understanding of the game and charismatic presence, Sacy’s journey in the world of content creation is just beginning.
