Playoff Preview and Predictions

The Quarter Finals fixtures to kickstart the Playoffs are as follows:

Fnatic vs. Karmine Corp

Fnatic will face the very familiar Karmine Corp in the first game of the Playoffs. While the teams are yet to play each other in 2025, Fnatic’s form and their playstyle will reign supreme, ensuring a semifinals spot.

Paper Rex vs. Sentinels

The Paper Rex vs. Sentinels match will see the clash of two elite fandoms along with their favorite teams. Paper Rex’s heavy momentum definitely gets the advantage, but Sentinels are no pushovers and can take the victory to secure a semifinals.

NRG vs. Gen.G

This is likely the closest clash of the quarterfinals. While Gen.G has the better international record in recent times, NRG’s momentum and the surprise factor can’t be underestimated. The firepower of the two teams is also a close match, making the series the best to follow.

BBL Esports vs. Team Heretics

The EWC 2025 will be BBL’s third time taking on Team Heretics. In their previous attempts, the Turkish organization has failed to make a dent. The chances of them winning continue to be slim, but maybe third time’s the charm?

Who will win EWC 2025?

Fresh off of their Masters Toronto 2025 victory, Paper Rex will enter the Playoffs with the biggest targets on their backs. Still the first international momentum powers their sails, making them the biggest contender for the EWC 2025 trophy.

The ones to closely follow the champs will be the Toronto runners-up of Fnatic, hoping to exact revenge and claim the inaugural VALORANT title at Riyadh, and securing the EWC Club Championship points for the organization.

Funnily, these two teams will face each other in the semifinal, and the winner of the clash will likely go on to lift the EWC trophy.
