ENVY Returns to Counter-Strike With Former 3DMAX Roster

ENVY, a prominent name in both American and French Counter‑Strike, has made a much‑awaited comeback with the acquisition of a new roster.

Over five years after disbanding in 2021, the organization has returned to its roots by signing 3DMAX's five‑man roster, comprising Lucky, Maka, Graviti, misutaaa, and Kursy. No information has been disclosed regarding the coaching staff, however.

Though an American organization, much of ENVY's past success came from its French rosters, namely the Team EnVyUs that won the DreamHack Open Cluj‑Napoca 2015 Major.

The organization has also been home to several legends of the game, including kennyS, apEX, shox, Happy, and ScreaM. While Envy later fielded American and international rosters, the org now appears to be looking to replicate its past success in the French CS scene with this new squad.

ENVY Makes CS2 Entry by Signing 3DMAX Roster 

3DMAX is a proven roster with a fair amount of experience in Tier 1 Counter‑Strike. Their recent success includes tournament wins at Tier 2 events like Logitech G Play Connect 2026 and NODWIN Clutch Series #11. However, they've also held their own at Tier 1 events this year, with a top‑4 finish at PGL Bucharest.

Though they missed the IEM Cologne Major, they finished in the top half of teams at both Majors in 2025, as well as at the 2024 Shanghai Major. This certainly highlights their potential despite inconsistent results.

• Bryan "Maka" Canda (IGL)

• Filip "Graviti" Branković

• Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier

• Jeremy "Kursy" Gast

With the acquisition of the 3DMAX roster, ENVY has not only secured a solid squad but also inherited the former's Valve Regional Standings (VRS) spot.

Team ENVY will begin their new run ranked 21st in the Global standings and 16th in the EU standings. With the Singapore Major's qualification cutoff just over a month away, and Europe sending the top-18 teams, ENVY has a good chance of qualifying for the first CS2 Major since their comeback.

ENVY's new squad is expected to make its debut at Stake Pulse Beat III, scheduled to begin on October 12. Their performance at this event, and potentially DraculaN Season 7, will determine whether they can clinch a Singapore Major spot.
