Disguised Toast’s League of Legends team will be back on the NA mainstage next year! DSG has won the Promotion Tournament over Luminosity Gaming, punching their ticket to the rebranded LCS 2026.

Reflecting on the First Year in the LTA

With the LTA 2025 announcement, Riot Games also confirmed the inclusion of DSG as a guest team in the league. Unfortunately, the year did not go as expected. DSG were matched against 100 Thieves and Dignitas during the first split, losing both games and getting eliminated from the tournament.

The second split wasn’t any different, as they went 1-6 in the positioning phase, followed by a 0-3 group stage record to finish last once again. The LTA North Split 3 was much better, as they placed 5th–6th after defeating Dignitas during the playoffs.

While the record seems grim, six of their nine losses came against 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Team Liquid, or FlyQuest. In their final game of the season, they had a close 3-2 series against Cloud9, showing they were much stronger than the record suggests.

Disguised Secure LCS Promotion

Joining the LTA North Promotion 2025 as the only invited team, DSG had to win it all to make it back to the main stage. During the tournament, DSG—placed directly in the upper bracket final—easily took down the NACL champions Luminosity Gaming twice to secure promotion.

With this, DSG will once again compete in the rebranded LCS 2026 next year. And with Sentinels in the mix, Riot Games will look to create storylines and hype involving the two organizations to rejuvenate the North American League.
