Top 5 Top Laners at Worlds 2025: Can Bin Secure Another Top Spot?
Worlds 2025 is right around the corner, and the time has come to discuss who the very best players coming into the tournament are.
First up, we set to the difficult task of ranking who we think are the best five Top Lane players attending this year's Worlds. Keep in mind that this ranking will be reflection on these players' current form, capacity to perform under pressure, influence in their teams, champion pools, and Worlds meta affinity.
So, without further ado, let's take a look at the best Top Laners of Worlds 2025!
5. Flandre (AL)

After more than 10 years competing at the highest level, Li "Flandre" Xuanjun comes into Worlds 2025 as one of the most experienced Top Laners at the tournament.
Anyone's Legend has ran into a bit of an identity crisis after making back-to-back finals at MSI and the Esports World Cup earlier this year, and will need to make use of every ounce of Flandre's experience if they want to return to form in time.
Over the course of the 2025 LPL Split 3 Playoffs, Flandre amassed the highest KDA (3.88) out of all Top Laners. Despite his best efforts, though, Anyone's Legend failed to make a run for the title, exposing what is perhaps Flandre's biggest weakness: he is not a carry.
One of the most important tools at Flandre's disposal, though, is his ability to play just about any champion and playstyle imaginable up top, giving his team lots of flexibility. Now, it's up to head coach Tabe to make the most of this at Worlds.
*While Doran could have easily claimed this spot over Flandre, we expect AL’s Top Laner to play a more pivotal role in his team’s performance at Worlds 2025.
4. Bin (BLG)

For a player that has dominated the Top Lane in recent years, it may seem odd to find Chen "Bin" Zebin this low on the list. The truth, though, is that Bin hasn't quite been his old overpowering self recently, which is a big part of the reason BLG didn't manage to lift a trophy until the very last split of the year.
For all of their struggles, though, BLG appear to be ramping into form just at the right time. This, coupled with the arrival of Jax buffs during Worlds patch, has BLG and Bin fans alike excited for what's to come.
It's worth remembering that Jax is Bin's second most played champion of all-time, on which he holds a high 69% win rate throughout his career.
3. 369 (TES)

Despite losing the LPL Grand Finals to Bin, Bai "369" Jiahao's form through the playoffs served to demonstrate he remains one of the best players in the world more than 7 years into his career.
For 369, his biggest weapon is no weapon at all, but rather the size of his arsenal. Throughout the LPL Split 3 Playoffs, 369 played the most champions out of any Top Laner at the tournament by a considerable margin (13 champions in 22 games).
Though he often plays the role of facilitator for his team, his impact in Top Esports' mid-to-late game cannot be understated; it's hard to imagine what TES' games would look like without 369's near-impeccable team-fighting.
2. Zeus (HLE)

Choi "Zeus" Woo-je may have flown under the radar in recent months given Hanwha Life's lack of international presence post-First Stand, but make no mistake, the back-to-back World Champion is very much still here.
Though his team faltered at the finish line against Gen.G, Zeus became the Top Laner with the highest KDA (3.64) at the 2025 LCK Playoffs. Moreover, Zeus also finished first in kills per game (3.3), second in gold per minute (378), and second in damage per minute (610.9); all despite being having the second lowest gold share (19.7%).
This last stat truly serves to demonstrate Zeus' status as one of the best carry Top Laners in the game thanks to his ability to impact the game without needing the rest of his team to cater to him on the Rift.
1. Kiin (Gen.G)

Last year, we ranked Kim "Kiin" Gi-in just behind Bin before Worlds 2024. This time, Kiin is the King of the Top Lane.
It may seem like Kiin is a beneficiary of Gen.G's non-stop trophy runs this year, but the truth is that the South Korean player has been nothing short of integral to his team's success. With Canyon in a bit of a slump recently, it fell onto Kiin to hold the fort up top for his team, and he's done a remarkable job of it.
During the 2025 LCK Playoffs, for instance, Kiin held the highest damage per minute (641.1) and kill participation (61.8%) out of all Top Laners at the tournament by a wide margin. Now, having played a key role in Gen.G's title run in the LCK, Kiin comes into Worlds 2025 as the best Top Laner at the event.
