Cadian's "Heroic" Win: Blast Premier Fall Finals Winners Heroic

After two years of struggle, Heroic and Cadian have finally achieved their dream of getting their hands on a LAN trophy. The win at Blast Premier Fall finals came after a plethora of top-five finishes. On the way to the top, the team faced a lot of strong opponents and defeated them to lift the trophy. 

Blast Premier Fall Finals Recap:

Blast Premier Fall Finals Group stage:

Two groups of four played the Group stage of Blast Premier Fall Finals. The groups were

Group A featuring Faze, OG, Heroic, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Group B featuring Natus Vincere, Fluxo, Team Liquid, and G2 Esports.

Group A Recap:

The first fixture of Group A started with Faze outclassing OG 2-0 to reach the Winner's finals. The second match heroic edged out NiP 2-1 to secure a top-two seed in Group A. The Group elimination match featured OG and NiP. NiP made easy work of OG, winning the series 2-0. In the Winner's match-up, Faze dominated heroic to become the first seed of group A.

Group B Recap:

With Navi dominating Fluxo 2-0, group B started with a stomp. In the second opening fixture, Liquid took apart G2 piece by piece to qualify for the Winner's final. The elimination match-up featured G2 securing the third seed of Group B by defeating Fluxo 2-0. In the Winner's match, Liquid upset S1mple-led Navi 2-0 to become Group B's top seed, thus securing Blast Premier World Finals.

Blast Premier Fall Finals Playoffs:

Quarterfinals Recap:

Heroic took on G2 in the first quarterfinals, and after a one-sided exchange of maps, the teams played the third map. Vertigo started in G2's favor, with the team winning, going 11-6 up, but Heroic shut down G2 attacks afterward to win the series 2-1, eliminating G2.

In the second Quarterfinal the Group B 2nd seed took on Group A 3rd Seed, pitting Navi against NiP. NiP, in the brawl, secured the first map and upset the Navi force after a close second half and a win on the third map, eliminating Navi.

Semifinals Recap:

In the first semifinal, Heroic started strong with Overpass, but Liquid brought back the second map to force the third. In the third map, Heroic secured an early seven-round lead and capitalized on it to secure the series and qualify for the Grand finals.

The group, A top seed Faze, took on Nip, and Nip once again secured the first map, and it seemed they'd upset faze, but ropz performed exceptionally to force the third. Faze won the third map comfortably to secure yet another Grand Finals.

Blast Premier Fall Finals: 

The Grand finals started with Heroic securing Overpass with a 16-11 scoreline. Faze answered back with a 16-12 finish on Inferno. The last map started with Heroic's defense displaying its prowess and closing the first half 11-4. But Faze brought back on their defense and forced overtime. In the overtime, Jabbi and Stavn pulled Heroic ahead in the competition to win Heroic their first-ever LAN trophy in a long time.

The victory was delightful for Cadian as he searched for an international LAN trophy for the longest time, traveled continents, and finally achieved his vision in Denmark in front of his Family. With the win, Heroic qualifies for the Blast Premier World Finals.
