After recent developments, the departure of former Heroic IGL Casper “cadiaN” Moller has been the talk of the Counter-Strike community. Heroic’s last statement regarding the Danish IGL’s departure shed light on the confusing decision. Now with Martin “Stavn” Lund and Jakob “Jabbi” Nygaard benched, cadiaN is back on the roster temporarily.

As per Heroic’s recent announcement, cadiaN will stand in for team at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Final. It was at last year's BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022 that cadiaN lifted the trophy in front of the home crowd.

CadiaN’s stint with Heroic is dubbed as the “The Last Dance” referring to Michael Jordan’s 1997-98 season with Chicago Bulls.  CadiaN will also likely take over the IGL duties and hopefully be the saving grace for the Heroic squad.

CadiaN’s decision to step in, despite his departure, is a testament to the player’s professionalism and love for Heroic as an organization. Despite the nature of his departure from the Heroic, him standing in for Heroic suggests no bad blood between CadiaN and Heroic.

Currently, Heroic is treading carefully as they navigate through the pickle the whole Stavn Jabbi contract situation has put them in. Talking about Heroic’s statement, Stavn tweeted a not so cryptic message.

CadiaN standing in for the team definitely gives the Heroic fan hope. The BLAST Premier Fall Final will feature eight teams qualified via Fall Groups.

The Counter-Strike roster to represent Heroic at the BLAST Premier Fall Final is as follows:

The team still needs a fifth and are yet to make an announcement on the team’s fifth member. The BLAST Premier Fall Final kicks off November 12, 2023 and will be the final tournament before the prestigious BLAST Premier World Final.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
