Another win for Vitality?

With BLAST Open Spring Lisbon 2025, we play another Playoffs with the usual suspects. In the past four S-tier tournaments of the year, these six teams have the maximum appearances.

The biggest surprise, however, has to be Eternal Fire winning group B, as well as The MongolZ missing the Playoffs. It’d be interesting to see how the young Mongolian side bounces back after a crushing setback.

Now moving on to the winners, the obvious choice to win it all is Team Vitality. The team led by apEX and featuring Zywoo and ropz easily clears the current level of the competition. They have yet to drop a map in the event, and if the other teams don’t step up their game, Vitality will walk away with yet another trophy.

The teams that have the biggest chance at upsetting are Team Spirit and MOUZ, two teams that have contested with the French side in the past and are closer to them than their peers. That said, both these teams still have a lot of work to do before they can compete with the current best team of Counter-Strike.

Eternal Fire has shown some amazing Counter-Strike this event, even completely demolishing Natus Vincere to secure the Group B #1 spot. They are also the only team to register a win over Team Vitality in 2025.

Lastly, G2 Esports and Natus Vincere are likely the farthest from the title, G2 Esports currently lack a central leader figure. While Snax is their IGL on paper, the confusion on the calling is hurting their chances.

Natus Vincere isn’t in the best of forms either, the team struggles to convert rounds and has fallen of in recent months. Both these teams took down The MongolZ, but both also have to look much better than they already have to stand a chance to win over their Quarterfinal opponents.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
