Looking to climb the ladder in Patch 25.11? We’ve got you covered. The latest League of Legends patch has shaken up the power level of several of our favorite champions. When maximizing your chances of success, picking the right champions can make all the difference. In this guide, we break down the best picks for each role to help you maximize your impact, capitalize on the strongest builds, and win more games this patch.

Top Lane

Sett

Patch after patch, Sett continues to be one of the best champions in the top lane when it comes to winning Solo Q games. Currently the champion with the highest win rate in the role at 52.91%, Sett's complete kit grants him access to burst damage, good engage capabilities, considerable tankiness, and crowd control.

Simply put, there's very little Sett can't get done up in the top lane.

Warwick

Warwick's outstanding sustain gives the champion a deceptively good laning phase. Don't be afraid to drop low on health on a 1v1, as that is when Warwick's healing capabilities are at their strongest, easily baiting an enemy into a fight they were never meant to win.

There are very few champions in the game that can go toe-to-toe with Warwick in lane, so make sure you use this to your advantage as you amass an insurmountable early lead that will pave the way to victory.

Yorick

Ever since his rework, Yorick has become an absolute menace, and Patch 25.11 is no different. Perhaps the single best split-pushing champion in the game, Yorick's capacity to single-handedly win games for his team is unrivaled.

As soon as you have your Trinity Force and Hullbreaker items finished, make sure to head straight for the enemy towers, which you will demolish in a matter of seconds.

Jungle

Briar

Briar's straightforward gameplay is exactly what makes the champion such a great pick with which to climb the ranked ladder in League of Legends. Both deceptively mobile and deceptively tanky, Briar's path to victory is easy to execute without being too risky.

And, let's face it, there is no better feeling than landing a cross-map [R] Certain Death and seeing the enemy player sink into a panicked frenzy.

Warwick

The champion is so strong in Solo Q, that he shows up on this list across two different roles. Warwick's [W] Blood Hunt allows him to pick up loads of early kills through minimal effort, while his [R] Infinite Duress grants easy access to an enemy carry when needed.

Warwick's sustain, speed, good clear, and early burst all make the champion one of the very best junglers of Patch 25.11.

Nocturne

Much like Briar, Nocturne's gameplan is extremely easy to execute. Set your sights on farming the jungle early on while keeping an eye out for any potential free kills. Once you hit level 6... let the fun begin!

Nocturne's [R] Paranoia is one of the toughest tools for an enemy carry to deal with, and immediately send the entire opposing team into disarray as they try to figure out exactly who is being targeted, and where.

Mid Lane

Diana

Despite her buffs in Patch 25.11 being meant to improve her game in the jungle, Diana became one of the biggest winners of the patch across several roles all the same.

Now, the champion is terrorizing Summoner's Rift as both her win rate and pick rate soar. Through her outstanding burst and her ability to change the course of a team fight in an instant with a well timed [R] Moonfall, Diana can quickly snowball a game out of control after claiming just one or two kills for herself early on.

Malzahar

When it comes to Solo Q, it's often best to keep it simple, and that is precisely why Malzahar continues to hold a sky-high win rate across several patches. The Prophet of the Void has a great laning phase thanks to his long range, push capabilities, and the added safety of his [P] Call of the Void.

The real treat, however, lies elsewhere. There is simply no ability in the game quite as effective at shutting down an enemy carry as Malzahar's [R] Nether Grasp. So remember, no matter how much your teammates may have fed an enemy champion, a well timed ultimate is all it takes to set things right.

Xerath

Few champions in League of Legends will prove to be as annoying to face as Xerath. The artillery mage's long range makes it very difficult to get near him without losing half of your health bar in the process, which makes him one of the most efficient mid lane picks when it comes to controlling a game from a distance.

If allowed to get into the late game, Xerath [R] Rite of the Arcane can easily take out an enemy champion before a fight even begins; a handy tool to have in your arsenal. Just make sure you practice your aim!

Bottom Lane

Nilah

To understand the unorthodox AD carry's current level of strength, just know that Nilah holds the highest win rate (53.22%!!) in the game for any champion with a pick rate higher than 1%.

Though her playstyle may take some getting used to, her kit and damage numbers are currently overtuned, and will often catch enemies off guard in Solo Q. If you're down to try a new and unconventional playstyle, then make sure to give Nilah a try before it's too late!

Senna

When we said Senna ADC was back, we meant it. With the latest buffs to her soul scalings and drop rates, Senna's pick rate in the ADC position has risen to a whopping 15.7% while maintaining a 51.60% win rate in the process.

If you like to play safe in lane and let your damage shine in the late game, then Senna is the perfect pick for you to climb ranked in Patch 25.11.

Sivir

With one of the best wave clears in the game, at least as far as the bot lane is concerned, Sivir has risen through the ranks after her latest buffs in Patch 25.11. Her laning phase can prove to be incredibly hard for the enemy team to deal with as her [Q] Boomerang Blade and [W] Ricochet allow Sivir to consistently shove the wave in while landing good poke in the process.

Paired with the right support pick, Sivir can put up one of the most oppressive lanes in the game outright.

Support

Sona

The truth is Sona has flown under the radar for quite some time now. With a built-in Exhaust, good lane poke, incredible healing and shielding capabilities late on, and team-wide crowd control, Sona can do it all.

Though she may look like a relatively simple champion to kick things off, you will be rewarded for mastering the timing and sequencing of Sona's abilities to maximum effect with some lovely LP.

Milio

While pro play leans heavily towards engage supports, Solo Q is the land of enchanters. And who better at that than Milio? Well timed [W] Cozy Campfire and [E] Warm Hugs can enable your carries to take over team fights, while your [R] Breath of Life can provide them with a second chance at life when all seemed doomed.

If you decide to go for Milio in your Solo Q games, then your ADC is sure to love you.

Nami

Much like Milio, Nami has the ability to empower her carries to great effect. What sets her apart, though, is her increased crowd control through [Q] Aqua Prison and [R] Tidal Wave, which can serve to punish enemy players caught off-guard.

Moreover, her [W] Ebb and Flow and [E] Tidecaller's Blessing can make it incredibly frustrating to try and deal with a Nami lane, making her a perfect pick to climb with.
