Now that Patch 25.11 of League of Legends has had time to settle, it is time to have a look at the effects of the latest update. The new patch has delivered buffs to several champions who were at risk of being forgotten, while some of the most recent overperformers were hit with the nerf hammer instead.

Though not all changes look big at first glance, even the smallest of tweaks can propel champions towards domination on Summoner's Rift. So, let's go ahead and take a look at the champions that became the biggest winners and losers of League of Legends Patch 25.11.

Biggest Winners of Patch 25.11

Ryze

Some of the changes to arrive with Patch 25.11 may have been small, but the tweaks to Ryze certainly weren't. The Rune Mage received a considerable damage upgrade to his DPS and burst thanks to the buffs to his [E] Spell Flux [Q] Overload after level six.

Now with a much stronger mid game, it is no surprise that Ryze's win rate has jumped with the latest patch, while seeing a lot more playtime as well.

Diana

The arrival of Patch 25.11 has seen Diana's pick rate double from the previous patch. Giving the champion's [P] Moonsilver Blade an extra +35% damage modifier against jungle monsters may not have looked like much at first, but it was exactly what Diana needed to take over.

A champion that thrives when ahead in gold, the latest change to her passive basically mean the following: Diana now clears the jungle considerably faster, which grants her more early gold, which grants her earlier access to core items, which lets her secure more kills, which lets her accrue even more gold. Essentially, if Diana gets an early lead, she can very easily take over a game entirely.

Sivir

Did the ADC with one of the best wave clears in the position really need more wave clear? Well, that's exactly what Sivir got. Now that her [W] Ricochet scales better with AD early on, Sivir's laning phase just got a whole lot more oppressive, as it is virtually impossible to stop her from shoving every wave in while also landing chip damage on her opponents in the process.

All this in mind, it comes as no surprise that Sivir's win rate has soared past the 51.5% mark in Patch 25.11.

Biggest Losers of Patch 25.11

Garen

One of the biggest highlights of Patch 25.11 was, without a doubt, Garen's mini-rework, which intended to see the champion stray away from heavy crit builds and towards more traditional bruiser items. While that part may have been achieved, Garen also got hit a bit too hard in other areas in the process.

This means Garen isn't quite the menace he used to be in the top lane anymore. Though he isn't in an outright terrible spot, Garen's changes saw him become one of the biggest losers of the new patch all the same. Expect his win rate to climb a bit yet, however, as players continue to figure out how best to build for the champion's strengths.

Annie

Annie enjoyed her time in the sun after the latest wave of buffs in previous patches made her one of the strongest champions in the game. Now, Riot Games were quick to tone the troublesome child down a notch, putting an end to her reign of terror.

Though still very much capable of one-shotting an enemy carry, it was the Dark Child's laning phase which took a hit in Patch 25.11, which means so did her win rate. Make no mistake, though, Annie is still strong; she's just not quite as oppressive anymore.

Smolder

Like Annie, Smolder's previous array of buffs and tweaks propelled the little dragon into the upper tiers of League of Legends champions. And, like Annie, it was precisely his early laning strength which Riot targeted in Patch 25.11.

Still one of the best scaling champions in the game, Smolder can now be punished far more easily in the early game to ensure he doesn't get a free pass into the late game anymore.
