Vincent Fabron, known as Chamber in VALORANT, is a Frenchman driven by a singular goal. His journey is marked by his willingness to sacrifice anything that stands in his way. This guide explores a background deeply rooted in combat and mystery.

Military to Weapons Designer
Initially serving in the French military, Chamber became a private military contractor marksman, leveraging his expertise in combat and weaponry. He eventually rose to the position of weapons designer for Kingdom Defense, however, his loyalties never lied with them but rather always himself and his mysterious 'end-goal'.
Chamber and the Birth of Fracture
Around 9 AFL (After First Light), Chamber travelled to the Everett-Linde Research Facility in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. There, he began communications with the facility's employees but was quickly barred from the grounds after attempting to access their systems.
He would return later, having reinstated his security clearance to obtain the facility's schematics. However, he was forced to make a decision that to this day has never been clarified. For some reason, after coming into contact with his Omega counterpart, the two fired on the facility's Large Radian Collider, killing many of the employees and reducing the facility to a husk.
Encountering the VALORANT Protocol
Shortly after the Everett-Linde Research Facility incident, Chamber came into contact with senior agents Brimstone and Viper. Proving himself useful, he was brought on as the 18th agent and provided the blueprints necessary for construcing the Alpha-Omega teleporter and recommending Neon as another addition to the Protocol.
Similar to his time with Kingdom, Chamber's relationship with the Protocol appears to be another means to an end. His fellow agents continue to observe him, some with more than a degree of suspicion on his true motives. This has caused him to move even more cautiously and brace for the inevitable judgement to come when he is revealed.
Personality
Chamber is known for his blend of suave nonchalance, professional poise, and smug humor. His confidence in his abilities and the value he brings is unshakable. He sets high standards for himself and his team, emphasizing the importance of winning with style. This quote from Chamber encapsulates his attitude: "None of this 'a win is a win' nonsense. We should win big and look good doing it."
Despite his friendly demeanor with many agents, Chamber is acutely aware of the secrets he harbors. His confidence and charm often mask the hidden depths of his true intentions.

Appearance
Chamber's appearance is distinct and stylish. He sports a combover hairstyle and thick, rectangular glasses. His attire includes a blue suit vest over a white long-sleeved shirt, paired with a geometrically patterned midnight tie.
The vest features three rifle bullets as buttons, and he wears brown gloves with white straps that expose his ring and pinkie fingers. A custom gold-strapped watch adorns his left arm, and he wears cedar-colored pants held by a belt with a unique golden-outlined buckle. A golden chain clipped across his tie adds a touch of elegance.
Chamber's most notable features are the gold nanotech tattoos on his face and arms, resembling traces found on a printed circuit board. These tattoos form his Tour De Force rifle, which materializes from his body when needed. His entire suit turns gold when near a Rendezvous anchor, although this effect may be purely for gameplay.
Chamber: Abilities Breakdown
Chamber was Riot Games' first attempt at re-defining the sentinel archetype, reimagining a sentinel agent that aggressively held onto space by eliminating enemy agents. Rather than a utility-focused kit, Chamber is a skill-based sentinel that scales with the player's aim, ingenuity and sense of timing.
Trademark
Trademark places a rotating trap that triggers on the first enemy to enter its zone of visibility. The traps places a slow field around the player that triggered it. Trademark gives off an audio clue when near it, is fully visible albeit small, and can be destroyed with damage. Chamber can recall it at any point to redeploy it after a cooldown period.
Headhunter
Headhunter equips Chamber with a hitscan pistol. The pistol has an option for aim-down sights, is high penetration, and can be equipped and unequipped by Chamber as often as he likes. Chamber can use Headhunter to fire specialized bullets, which he purchases individually in the shop before the round begins. Bullets carry over round to round until consumed.
Rendezvous (Signature)
Rendezvous is Chamber's signature, placing a small anchor at a position of his choosing. It is simultaneously his get-out-of-jail-free card as well as his primary tool for aggressive plays. The anchor emits a radius around itself. As long as Chamber is within the radius, he can re-activate Rendezvous to teleport to the anchor.
Verticality does not matter and high-level Chamber players often make use of the mechanic to quickly swap not just angles but elevation after taking a shot. Once Chamber has teleported or recalls the anchor, Rendezvous goes on cooldown. If the anchor takes sufficient damage, it is destroyed and Chamber will not be able to re-place a new anchor.
Tour De Force (Ultimate)
Tour De Force equips Chamber with a sniper rifle with 5 bullets. It has a faster recovery rate compared to the OP and is more akin to the Marshall in dexterity. If Chamber kills an enemy agent with Tour De Force, a slow field spawns around the agent's body, making instant trades difficult. Chamber can equip and unequip Tour De Force as many times as he likes during the round it is active until he has consumed all its bullets.
Conclusion
Chamber is a complex character within the VALORANT universe, blending style and deadly precision. His background, marked by sacrifices and relentless pursuit, makes him a fascinating agent. Understanding Chamber's abilities and personality can greatly enhance your gameplay, allowing you to make the most of his unique skill set. By mastering Chamber, players can bring both flair and effectiveness to their VALORANT matches.
