League of Legends Worlds 2023 continues through the Swiss Stage. The matchup draws for Day 3 have now been revealed. As per the tournament rules for this part of the Swiss Stage, the games will be played in Bo3 format as they will be qualification matches. The winner of these two series will progress straight to the Knockout Stage (3-0 record), and the loser will have to face the next winners from the current 1-1 stage.

Worlds 2023 Swiss Stage Day 3 Schedule

JD Gaming vs LNG Esports [8am BST]

JDG have successfully reasserted their place at the top of China’s food chain. Having beaten BLG convincingly, they now face another of their kin in LNG. LNG, for their part, have proven themselves region slayers, having taken down both Fnatic and Cloud9 in days 1 and 2. Most head into this match expecting a repeat of the LPL Summer Playoffs finals, in which JDG took down LNG 3-2. However, it was a close series, with LNG having reached match point first. Despite that, Strafe viewers have voted 89% in favor of JDG to close out this series and be the first team to qualify for the Knockout Stage.

G2 Esports vs Gen.G [11am BST]

G2’s victory over Weibo proved to be an incredible elation for EU fans, as the kings of Europe continue to prove themselves against the best in the world. Having taken down both Dplus KIA and Weibo Gaming, they now face their truest test. Gen.G finally overcame T1 internationally, having beaten them in today’s game. Their victory on the first day against GAM was even more dominating. Gen.G is incredibly favored to win Worlds 2023, and thus this matchup looks very much weighed towards them. However, based on 982 predictions from Strafe viewers, G2 is slightly weighted to win, with 52% of the votes.
