After the immense success of the global pop supergroup, K/DA, Riot Games has revealed a new virtual band HEARTSTEEL. The new Riot Games Music group features League of Legends Champions Ezreal, KaynSett, Aphelios and K’Sante. Yone will be the groups’ producer.

HEARTSTEEL - All you need to know:

Essentially a virtual boy-band, HEARTSTEEL is a part of Riot’s RGM (Riot Games Music) division which features Riot Games’ characters as virtual pop idols. The new boy bond is a successor to the immensely successful K/DA featuring Ahri, Kai’sa, Evelynn and Akali. Their debut single “POP/STARS” was recently certified platinum. HEARTSTEEL will be the fourth virtual music artist group after K/DA, Pentakill and True Damage.

Ezreal will be the group’s face and the vocalist, Ezreal will be played by EXO and SuperM’s BAEKHYUN. Kayn will be the group’s rapper and instrumentalist played by the LA-based Rapper Cal Scruby.

Tobi Lou will play as the group's co-leader and vocalist K’sante. Sett will be the final member and co-leader of HEARTSTEEL and a rapper.  LA-born, Taipei-based artist ØZI will play Sett. The group also features Aphelios as the songwriter and instrumentalist, and Yone as the group’s producer.

Talking about HEARTSTEEL, Maria Egan, Global Head of Music & Events at Riot Games said:

“Riot’s virtual artists have been some of the most innovative and beloved music moments for our players. The idea of an all-male band has long been speculated on by fans and we’re so excited to bring this fantasy to life. HEARTSTEEL is a deep collaboration between all our talented in-house creative teams and some incredible new artists. The ethos of HEARTSTEEL is a supergroup of musical soulmates greater than the sum of its parts - a philosophy that our community embodies every day through their dedication to our games.”

With great musical artists in the background, HEARTSTEEL will definitely be a success and likely overtake its predecessors in K/DA, Pentakill and True Damage. The “character-forward songwriting and relentless energy” will showcase in the group’s debut single “PARANOIA”, which will be released on YouTube on October 23 at 8:00 AM PT. Riot Games will also introduce skins for the boy band.

The Virutal group will also likely perform at the Worlds 2023 Grand finals. The Worlds 2023 Swiss stage is currently underway and will feature top LoL teams clashing for lifting the Summoner's cup.
