VCT Americas comes to a close for this season, as the Brazilian Squad LOUD managed to dominate the competition. They hoisted the trophy after a near perfect Regular season, losing only one game. And they dropped just one map in the Playoffs.

Grand Finals: LOUD vs NRG

LOUD managed to sweep their North American Rivals 3-0 in the Grand Finals. This solidifies their position as the best team in the region, and as one of the best teams Valorant has to offer.

Haven remains

Map 1: Ascent

Even though LUD managed to take the first two rounds on Ascent, it was NRG who led the first half 7-5 on their defensive side. But LOUD managed to one-up them, as they showed a very strong defense of their own. Only allowing NRG to take 2 rounds in the second half, LOUD took the map win at 13-9.

Map 2: Bind

Bind started off strong for LOUD, as they managed to get a 5 round win streak right off the bat. But NRG did not take this sitting down. They also pulled out a 5 round win streak, as the first half ended 6-6. However, the North American outfit did not have this momentum going into the second half. They were only able to muster 2 rounds in the first 7 rounds, and won a total of 5 rounds in the half, before LOUD took the map at 13-11.

Map 3: Fracture

As LOUD stood at 2-0 in the series, they made sure that Fracture would be the last map of the night. However, NRG decided that they had other plans. Starting off with a decent Attack side, the North American side managed to take the lead in the first half at 7-5. But, as LOUD had planned, they executed. The South American outfit only allowed their rivals to take 4 rounds, as they hammered NRG on their own attack side. NRG were left scrambling, as LOUD took the lead, and won the map 13-11.

The Champions:

LOUD have claimed the title of Champions of VCT Americas. As they lift the silverware, they solidify themselves as one of the most dominant squads in Valorant. They have also qualified for VCT Masters Tokyo and VCT Champions 2023 as the top seed from the Americas, along with NRG and Evil Geniuses. Saadhak has been named the MVP of the Tournament.
