VALORANT Reveals Run It Back: Lunar 26 Bundle for Lunar New Year

VALORANT Reveals Run It Back: Lunar 26 Bundle for Lunar New Year

Riot Games is giving players another reason to celebrate the Year of the Horse. The developers have officially revealed the "Run It Back: Lunar 26" capsule, a special edition of the fan-favorite bundle series designed to coincide with the Lunar New Year festivities.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, the Run It Back collection offers a second chance to snag popular weapon skins from previous releases, saving you the anxiety of waiting for them to randomly appear in your daily Store rotation or the Night Market.

A Stacked Skin Lineup

This year's selection is particularly strong, featuring a mix of three Premium tier guns, one Exclusive tier gun, and a highly sought-after Melee. The bundle pulls from some of the game’s most visually distinct collections. The confirmed lineup includes:

  • Gaia’s Vengeance Ghost

  • Nocturnum Phantom

  • Aemondir Vandal

  • Forsaken Operator

  • Evori’s Spellcaster Melee

Perhaps the most intriguing addition is the FDGT // SPNR Flex, a brand-new item introduced with this collection.

Release Date and Timing

Fittingly for a Lunar New Year celebration, the bundle is expected to hit the store on February 17, aligning perfectly with the holiday. The "Lunar 26" branding suggests this will be the marquee cosmetic content for the V26 update cycle.

Breaking Down the Cost

The pricing strategy remains the biggest question mark for the community based on the individual skin cost. The Ghost, Vandal, and Operator sit at 1,775 VP each, the Phantom at 2,175 VP, and the Melee at a steep 4,950 VP. Thus, buying everything separately would be expensive but also unnecessary.

Speculation currently points to two possible pricing schemes for the full bundle. The "player-friendly" theory suggests a price around 7,500 VP, where players pay for the four guns and receive the expensive Melee and the new Flex item for free.

However, a second theory estimates a total cost closer to 11,000 VP, calculated by summing the total value (approx. 17,500 VP) and applying a standard 33% bundle discount. Until the store updates, players will have to wait and see just how much this second chance will cost them.

Is VALORANT Crossplay? PC, PS5, Xbox & Mobile Explained (2026)

VALORANT does not offer crossplay between PC and console. This means that PC players can only match and play against other PC players, and console players (PS5 and Xbox) players can only match and play against other console players. While there is no crossplay in VALORANT, the game does support cross progression, which means that your account, skins, and any other form of progress carry from one platform to the other (from PC to console, and vice versa).
