VCT Stage 1 is in the books, and the 12 teams heading to VALORANT Masters London have been set. From regional powerhouses to first-time international qualifiers, here's how every team stacks up ahead of the tournament.
Disclaimer: This tier list is based on regional performances, roster analysis, and historical international results. At the end of the day, these are educated guesses. VALORANT is an unpredictable game, and any team on any given day is capable of defying expectations. Take these rankings with a grain of salt, sit back, and let the teams do the talking when Masters London kicks off.

S-Tier: The Title Contenders
Paper Rex and G2 Esports enter London as the two most dangerous teams in the field. Paper Rex are probably the team with the best form in London, coming off an incredible lower bracket run in the VCT Pacific 2026 Stage 1 playoffs after a shock loss to Global Esports.

G2 Esports, representing VCT Americas, arrive as arguably the most complete unit in the field. They always show incredible resilience in international tournaments with a polished roster built to compete at the highest level. These are the teams to beat.

A-Tier: Serious Threats
NRG and Team Heretics are the strongest bets outside the top two. NRG have shown in recent times that regionals aside, they are THE team to beat in international tournaments. With 3rd-place finishes plaguing them throughout the year, it wouldn’t be a wild bet to predict they will do so again.
Heretics are coming off of their second trophy and first-ever EMEA title. Los Niños had a rocky start but found consistency later on, qualifying for London after back-to-back wins over BBL, Fnatic, and Eternal Fire.

B-Tier: The Dark Horses
EDward Gaming, FULL SENSE, and Leviatan form a compelling mid-tier bracket. EDG look revitalized after an incredible win at VCT China, upping their total to six titles.
FULL SENSE might be the most dangerous team in this tier, with Primmie leading the entire Pacific league in rating, and the team swept their way to the Grand Finals without dropping a single map in the playoffs.
Leviatan has looked consistent throughout their entire Americas run, with upsets over MIBR and G2 in the playoffs. Given this is their first international appearance since 2024, some nerves are also expected.

C-Tier: Peak Potential
XLG Esports and Team Vitality round out the mid-table expectations. XLG posted a flawless Group Stage record in China, only falling to EDG twice in the finals. Vitality, meanwhile, boasts veterans in Derke and Chronicle, but it is the rookie Sayonara who everyone has their eyes set on. Both teams are capable of a top-8 run but face tougher ceilings.
D-Tier: London Underdogs
Dragon Ranger Gaming, Global Esports, and FUT Esports are the most difficult teams to project. Global Esports will make their first-ever international appearance, and their third-place finish came with a disheartening 6-0 across two matches. DRG carry the potential upside of vo0kashu, the highest-rated player of VCT China Stage 1, who missed Champions 2025 due to visa issues. FUT Esports have historically wilted on the international stage despite promising domestic runs. London will test whether this revamped roster breaks the trend.
London Awaits
Masters London is promising to be one of the most compelling international events in recent VCT memory. With no Korean teams in attendance for the first time in VCT history, the field is wide open, and fresh narratives are ready to be written. London has all the ingredients for chaos. Mark your calendars for June 6th, because this one is not to be missed.
