The Japanese Power House and VCT Masters Reykjavik Second Runner-ups Zeta Division Valorant have introduced Takebayashi "barce" Ryo as the sixth man going into the VCT'23 season. The rest of the roster will remain the same for the upcoming Valorant season.

The ZETA Division Valorant:

The ZETA Division Valorant started as Absolute Jupiter. Acquiring the Jupiter CS roster consisting of Laz, Reita, Crow, Barce, Takej, and Coach Junior. Soon XQQ joined the team as the coach, and Gya9 joined as the analyst.

The team was among the strongest in Japanese Valorant, winning the Valorant Ignition Series and First Strike Japan in 2020.

In 2021, Jupiter Rebranded to ZETA Division. But the roster failed to achieve significant results throughout the season, consistently placing second behind crazy raccoons.

Towards the end of the year, ZETA acquired TENNN, SugerZ3ro, and Dep for their roster. This is the current ZETA Divison core of Laz, Crow, Dep, SugarZ3ro, and TENNN.

2022 Zeta Division:

Zeta Division Valorant Core

With the new roster, the ZETA division started in 2022 in style, winning the VCT Japan Stage 1 Challengers group stage with absolute domination and easily qualifying for the playoffs.

Zeta division completely took over the playoffs, winning against their opponents with relative ease. Finally they defeated their competition in Crazy raccoons 3-1 in finals to secure their second international appearance.

The VCT Masters 1 Reykjavik 2022 journey started with a loss when they faced DRX, and the Group stage DRX dominated them. Now facing elimination and Fnatic, ZETA Division defeated Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the lower bracket to qualify for their first international playoffs.

The playoffs for ZETA started with a loss to G2 Esports, but they quickly recollected themselves to beat Team Liquid to avoid elimination in the Lower Round 1. Their opponents now were DRX, the same DRX that gave them a hard time in the group stage opening match. In the revenge matchup, ZETA beat the heavy favorites DRX to face Paper rex in the Lower Semi-finals and beat the W Gamer Train.

Now facing their biggest challenge yet in Optic, The team managed to hold off Optic but was overwhelmed by Optic Gaming and lost to Optic Gaming, placing 3rd in the tournament. This was a miracle run from ZETA, and they placed themselves amongst the strongest in the tournament.

In Stage 2, Zeta lost to Northeption in the finals and missed out on Copenhagen. Coming into Champions, they were part of the same group as the tournament finalists and, despite their strongest efforts, failed to defeat LOUD, and their journey ended.

With the season ending, the ZETA division has proved to be amongst the top teams in international Valorant.
