The action is packing in The Lima Major as day 3 of the playoff concluded. It is also important to note all the series played on day 3 of The Lima Major concludes with game 2. Here’s a quick summary of the actions that happened on day 3.

HellRaisers Vs Talon

HellRaisers went up against Talon Esports to start day 3. Having a lot on the line for both teams, Talon drafted a Lina draft going into game 1.  HellRaisers had no answers to the Lina draft, as 23savage tear them apart. At 43 minutes, with a score of 56 to 19, Talon Esports closed out game 1. Game 2 was also a complete stomp by Talon, as HellRaisers’s Naga Siren had no answers to the Sniper drafted by Talon Esports. Game 2 ended at 43 minutes with a score of 44 to 16.

Entity Vs Gaimin Gladiators

The first match between Entity against Gaimin Gladiators saw Quinn on Queen Of Pain.  Quinn put up a marvellous display on his midlane QoP, dominating his lane and making space for his team. At 35 minutes with a 28K gold net worth lead, Gaimin Gladiators ended game 1.

Gaimin Gladiators played a fast-paced game 2, with an offlane Broodmother and a hard carry Terrorblade. Knowing that they had been out-drafted, with having no answers to the momentum of the game, Entity tapped out at 26 minutes. Thus, Gaimin Gladiators were the first team to reach the top 3 in The Lima Major.

Shopify Rebellion Vs Team Liquid

The series between Shopify Rebellion and Team Liquid was thrilling to watch, as the winner will be the second team advancing to the upper bracket finals of The Lima Major.

In game 1, Shopify Rebellion drafted a Marci carry draft and tried to shut down Nisha, focusing their pressure on midlane. With Boxi creating space on the map, miCKe on his safelane Lina, stepped up. At 31 minutes with a score of 31-13, Team Liquid ended game 1.

In game 2, Shopify Rebellion stomped the laning stage and early game, with Abed playing brilliantly on his mid-lane Primal Beast. Hitting their item timing, a brilliant smoke play by Team Liquid at 24 minutes caught Shopify Rebellion off guard. With Shopify losing momentum, Team Liquid played methodically and took calculated fights. Slowly crawling their way back into the game with the duo core of Drow Ranger and Morphling. Eventually, the duo core of Team Liquid got too much for Shopify Rebellion to handle. At 46 minutes, Shopify Rebellion tapped out of game 2, giving the series to Team Liquid.

Team Liquid will be facing Gaimin Gladiators in their upper bracket finals. The winner will advance to the Grand Finals, and the loser will drop to the lower bracket finals, where they can earn their redemption.
