Team Liquid is one of the dominant teams of the DPC 2022-2023 Season. Team Liquid is even considered the kings of DPC for the current season to reflect how strong their dominance was. The team annihilated every team that stood in their way during the DPC Winter and Spring Tour.

They always secured a Top 2 finish in LANs, eventually becoming the first team to qualify for The International 2023. However, in the Summer Tour, Team Liquid met disappointment.

They lost their debut series to Entity. They managed to pull through and secure their ticket for The Berlin Major with a score of four wins and three losses, but they showed cracks in their play style. They were no longer the dominant team they once were. The team qualified for DreamLeague Season 20, but there is a drastic difference between their performance from DreamLeague Season 19.

Not a good run

Despite being the favourites, Team Liquid is not doing well at DreamLeague Season 20. On the opening day, they lost their debut series against Tundra Esports and tied the following series against Evil Geniuses. On day 2, they tied the series against Team Spirit and lost to Talon Esports. Currently, Team Liquid is at the bottom of Group A with a score of no wins, two ties and two losses. Their performance was night and day compared to their DreamLeague Season 19 performance.

Back at DreamLeague Season 19, although the team drew with some of the teams from the groups, they didn’t lose a single series. Moreover, they dominated Group B. They placed a top seed in Group B with a score of four wins, three ties and no losses. They breeze through the upper bracket with ease. However, after the nail-biting grand finals against Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid was defeated with a score of 3-2, favouring Gaimin Gladiators.

Saving Strats for The International?

Team Liquid is playing less than what they’re capable of, and many fans believe the team’s saving strats for The International 2023. Since the team is already qualified for The International 2023, and there are many tournaments before Ti12. Team Liquid’s captain Insania stated in a post-game interview that the team is saving energy and trying to focus more on DreamLeague, Riyadh Masters and the upcoming TI.
