The Division I playoffs have concluded, and the teams for the Bali Major have decided. The Division II playoffs are currently in action, but for the fans longing for Division I Dota 2 action, there will be DreamLeague Season 20 kicking off next week. The DreamLeague Season 20 is part of the ESL One Pro Tour.

The ESL One Pro Tour will end with The Riyadh Masters featuring a $ 15 million USD. Two teams, one crowned champion and the runner-up, will qualify for The Riyadh Master from the DreamLeauge Season 20. In the last season, DreamLeague Season 19, Gaimin Gladiators were crowned as the champions and became the first team to secure their ticket to the Riyadh Masters.

However, with the new tournament comes the new favourites and dark horses. The Western Europe region is currently dominating the DPC 2022-2023 season. Many of the teams from the WEU region were able to make a deep run in LANs, and they secured the upper brackets as well. Without further ado, here’re the favourites going into DreamLeague Season 20.

Team Liquid

After adding Nisha as their new midlaner in the 2022-2023 DPC season, Team Liquid dominated their region and LANs. However, they always fall short against Gaimin Gladiators in the grand finals, making Gaimin their arch-rivals. Moreover, the team started to show cracks in the Summer Tour despite being regarded as the “ Kings of DPC”. They, however, are the first team to qualify for The International 2023.

Gaimin Gladiators

Gaimin Gladiators had an explosive start in The 2022-2023 DPC season. After adding Quinn to their roster, the team is unstoppable in the LANs. Although they had mixed performances in the Summer Tour, Gaimin Gladiators won every tournament they had attended thus far. They are the champions of The Lima Major, DreamLeague Season 19 and The Berlin Major. They are also qualified for The International 2023.

9Pandaz

Although their name might sound new, 9Pandaz contains the former HellRaisers roster. The team made a triumphed debut at The Berlin Major, finishing third. 9Pandaz have players like RAMES666, Solo and Kiyotaka. At the Summer Tour, with a score of five wins and two losses, they secured a third-place finish in EEU.

Tundra Esports

Tundra Esports dominated the Summer Tour in the WEU by going undefeated. Although they are the current Ti Champions, the team had shown cracks during both Winter Tour and Summer Tour. They had mixed performances in the DPC 2022-2023 Season. However, they placed fourth in the previous DreamLeague Season and have shown improvements. As The International 2023 is on the horizon, the reigning champions have qualified for it and are looking to defend their throne.
