Christopher "dexter" Nong, the Australian in-game leader, has bid farewell to MOUZ after a successful tenure of over two years. Dexter's departure marks the end of his time with the German team's international roster, which began in February 2021.

The Present at MOUZ:

Following the recent benching of Jon "JDC" de Castro, MOUZ has decided to remove dexter from the active roster. There have been reports linking Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, the former MOUZ NXT and GamerLegion in-game leader, to a potential move to MOUZ.

During his time with MOUZ, the 28-year-old dexter led the team to a moderate level of success. Notably, they secured a semi-final placement at the IEM Rio Major 2022 and emerged as champions at Flashpoint 3. However, the team faced struggles throughout 2023, often exiting tournaments before the playoffs and encountering difficulties in significant events, except for a runner-up finish at IEM Dallas shortly before the tournament break.

History with MOUZ:

Jan Dominicus, MOUZ's Chief Business Development Officer, expressed gratitude for the time spent with dexter, acknowledging the challenges he faced when joining the team in Hamburg during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dominicus emphasized the tremendous commitment shown by dexter during his 2.5-year tenure and regarded his story with the team as extraordinary. Dominicus conveyed confidence in dexter's future success, pledging continued support and well-wishes for his career.

In his statement, dexter expressed his appreciation for MOUZ, describing them as his "German family." He highlighted the care and support provided by the organization, especially during the trying times of COVID-19 lockdowns. The Australian player expressed his gratitude for the shared experiences, the positive vibes, and the love he received from the MOUZ family, stating that he would cherish those moments for the rest of his life. Dexter concluded by expressing excitement for his upcoming new adventure.

As dexter departs from MOUZ, the team looks toward the future, considering potential roster changes and a possible addition in the form of siuhy.
