The Lima Major is around the corner means there will be many actions to unfold in the coming days. Top teams from various regions will be duking out for their fair share $500,000 USD prize pool and DPC points to secure the direct invite for The International 2023.

While some teams are favourites to win the tournament, there are also notable players who stand out above the rest. The individual performance of these players is enough to carry their teams to victories should the situation call for it.

Nisha ( Team Liquid)

Michał "Nisha" Jankowski is currently the hottest player in the scene to watch. On top of his massive hero pool, his understanding of the in-game situation, positioning and itemization are above the rest. He is currently playing for Team Liquid and most of Team Liquid's playstyles are built around him.

Quinn (Gaimin Gladiators)

On top of his eloquent personality, witty comebacks and sassy insults, Quinn "Quinn" Callahan is perhaps one of the interesting midlaner to keep an eye on for the Major.

Every move he does in the laning stage is well thought out to minute detail. His signature heroes are Leshrac, Ember Spirit and Void Spirit. He is also quite known to tilt most times when he is in-game. He is currently playing for Gaimin Gladiators.

NothingToSay (PSG.LGD)

Known for his brilliant playstyle and his signature Tinker, Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang is one of the best midlaner from China. He helped his team secure a runner-up spot at The International 2021.

Nine (Tundra)

The current Ti champion, Leon "Nine" Kirilin perfected the concept laid down by the former back-to-back Ti Champion, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, the concept is known as shadow carry. Nine plays unconventional heroes for his role at midlane pioneering the way how a mid should be played for the particular meta.

DarkMago (BeastCoast)

Herrera "DarkMago" Gonzalo is known for his aggression at midlane. Although he is widely known in South America, his big break came last year when he got the attention of the international community.  Along with his former team, he secured a 5th-6th finish at The International 2022. He is often known to play Mars as a position 2.
