[UPDATED] Game Changers champion Florescent Accused of Sexual Misconduct
In a disturbing set of allegations, former Apeks VALORANT player and Game Changers Champion Ava "florescent" Eugene has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman otherwise called ‘Brick’ to protect her privacy.
A lengthy social media post, authored by someone close to the alleged victim - alias Kitty - outlines an incident that reportedly took place on January 3, 2024.
It’s important to stress that these are allegations - no formal charges have been filed at the time of writing.
Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault and Coercion
The accusations center around an incident that allegedly occurred at Ava’s residence, following prior discussions between her and Brick that included later explicitly expressing a desire not to engage in sexual activity. According to the post, when Brick communicated her discomfort and refusal, Ava responded with emotional pressure, saying she "didn't really want to see her" if any sexual activity was off the table.
Despite her reservations, Brick agreed to meet Ava, reportedly out of emotional attachment and a desire to maintain the relationship. Upon arriving at Ava's home, where she was driven by an Uber arranged by Ava, Brick claims Ava changed her phone password to prevent her from accessing it. This, according to the post, was explained by Ava as a precaution to hide her location.
Pain, Resistance, and a Lack of Consent
The post describes that the initial encounter turned sexual with Brick’s hesitant consent, but quickly became physically painful. Despite Brick expressing her discomfort and pain, Ava allegedly continued until the act concluded. Brick discovered she was bleeding and, embarrassed and confused, cleaned herself up and returned to Ava’s room, where they took a nap.
The situation worsened after Brick received a phone call from her mother asking her to return home. As Brick attempted to leave, Ava reportedly became insistent on engaging in sexual activities again, despite Brick's repeated refusals. According to the account, Ava persisted for nearly 30 minutes, ignoring verbal rejections and physical resistance.
The author writes that Brick repeatedly told Ava she had to leave and was not feeling well, citing jet lag and discomfort from earlier. Ava allegedly dismissed these pleas, telling her they could have already finished if she hadn't resisted and questioning if Brick really wanted to "disappoint" her. Feeling trapped, with her phone inaccessible and no way to call for help, Brick eventually gave in. The author stresses that Brick never gave verbal consent and only complied after persistent coercion and emotional manipulation.
The person who shared the allegations claims this is not a baseless or isolated incident, hinting that other troubling behavior from Ava may also come to light.
Response from Florescent
Since the time of the accusations, Florescent has made a public statement denying any and all accusations of sexual assault. She also mentioned that she was exploring her legal options, and will provide an update when capable.
New Information from Brick
On May 18, Brick, the original victim came forward with her own testimony regarding the situation. In a new public document released by them, additional allegations have surfaced against florescent. The new information, while still unverified and lacking formal legal action at this time, expands upon the initial post made by her confidant Kitty.
Brick Breaks Silence
Brick, who continues to remain anonymous for safety and privacy reasons, began her statement by describing the emotional difficulty of coming forward. “Going public was the most challenging thing I have ever had to do,” she wrote. According to Brick, her intention was never to publicly shame Ava, but rather to hold her accountable for what she alleges occurred throughout their nearly year-long relationship.
She claims that her first attempt to confront Ava privately over Discord was met with denial. Screenshots shared in the document appear to show Ava allegedly denying memory of events, citing jet lag, and later blocking Brick after Brick mentioned potentially filing a police report.
Brick recounts a turbulent nine-month relationship with Florescent, between late 2022 and 2023, which she characterizes as toxic and emotionally manipulative. She claims Ava repeatedly disregarded her boundaries, refused to use protection during sex, and weaponized emotional distress, including threats of self-harm and suicide, to allegedly control or guilt her.
In one instance, Brick says she took a positive pregnancy test and, out of panic, sent Ava a stock image of a test to gauge her reaction. After clarifying she was not pregnant, Ava allegedly continued to tell others that Brick had lied about the pregnancy to "baby trap" her.
Revisiting January 3rd, 2024
Brick reiterates her version of the alleged sexual assault that took place on January 3rd, 2024. She states that although she initially consented to sex, she repeatedly told Ava that she was in physical pain and bleeding. Later, when she tried to leave, she alleges that Ava coerced her into further sexual activity despite her explicit refusal.
Screenshots and message logs leading up to January 3rd were provided to support her timeline. Brick claims she texted close friends immediately after the incident, detailing what happened.
Brick also recounts an alleged incident from September 2023 when, despite the couple having broken up, Ava initiated unwanted sexual contact. Additionally, she describes episodes of emotional neglect, including an instance where she was in a car accident and, when seeking comfort, was instead broken up with.
Statements from two other unnamed ex-girlfriends were briefly mentioned but not detailed in the current release.
Support for Victims
These allegations are part of a broader conversation around consent, coercion, and the abuse of power in personal relationships. If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse or assault, support is available through national and local organizations. Speaking out, whether publicly or privately, takes courage, and every survivor deserves to be heard and supported.
