The second Valve-sponsored event of the year is just around the corner. As tradition dictates, we have the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 update. The new update introduces the Pick’Em Challenge, the teams and player autograph stickers, and a new “Sticker Slab” charm.

The update also features minor performance improvements, bug fixes and UI update for Glove Models.

The StarLadder Budapest Major hub is now available in-game. Players can buy the latest team and player autograph stickers, the Budapest 2025 Viewer Pass and Souvenir tokens for the upcoming major.

As usual, the Viewer Pass is your entry ticket for the Pick’Em Challenge. You receive a Bronze coin. Completing the challenges will upgrade the received coin and earn Souvenir packages. The Highlight Souvenir packages introduced during the Austin Major 2025 will also be making their return for Budapest.

There are two buy options for the Viewer Pass:

  • Budapest 2025 Viewer Pass for $9.99
  • Budapest 2025 Viewer Pass  + 3 Souvenir Tokens for $19.99

The stickers capsules as usual are available separately for the three stages. The prices for them and the souvenir packages are as usual.

For the sticker capsules and souvenirs:

  • Team and Player autograph Sticker Capsules are $0.99
  • Budapest 2025 Souvenir Packages are $2.99

There is a new sticker type for the Budapest Major 2025.

The four types of stickers in the capsules are:

  • Paper (Normal)
  • Embroidered
  • Holo
  • Gold

New Sticker Slab Charm

Apart from the Major update, the update introduces a new type of purchasable charm — Sticker Slab.

These charms allow the player to convert stickers into charms. Any sticker can be “sealed” by the sticker slab charm and attached to any weapon. The slabs can be “cracked open” and the stickers return to your inventory.

To create a charm from the sticker:

  • Right Click on a sticker.
  • Navigate and select “Seal in a Sticker Slab”
  • Attach your charm to a weapon of your choice.

Apart from these, the update also included bug fixes, UI changes and Performance improvements. Read the complete patch notes for the update [here].

The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 kicks off November 24 with Stage 1. Catch the tournament live on  TwitchYouTube, and Kick. You can also follow the tournament on Strafe.
