After a series of disappointing results, ENCE has decided to bench Head Coach, Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński.

The Polish Legend joined the International organization in November, 2023, taking over as the coach for the team.

Before kuben joined the team, ENCE was on the rise, consistently placing top 4 at S-tier events. With the dawn of Counter-Strike 2, the team lost two big architects of the team’s success in maden and SunPayus.

Dycha stayed behind and ENCE brought in Gla1ve and kuben, along with Goofy, Kylar and hades from 9INE.

As 2024 started, ENCE struggled to replicate the success they achieved with the previous squad. Despite making multiple roster changes, the team failed to achieve success.

Talking about kuben’s journey with the team, Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, ENCE General Manager wrote;

“kuben has a clear vision of his craft and playstyle, and unfortunately, we weren’t able to align it with ours. This of course leads us now to seek a new direction, to find someone who sees the game in a similar way as our players want to play it. I personally want to thank kuben for his time with us, and I truly hope he finds the team where his vision can do wonders.”

The team will play the upcoming ESL Pro League S20 without another roster change and thereafter look to evaluate the squad and make necessary changes.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
