JonahP officially joins Sentinels VALORANT

Sentinels has officially brought on longtime G2 Esports player JonahP ahead of 2026 VCT Americas Stage 1 in their quest to improve upon their Kickoff struggles.

After the VCT 2025 season, JonahP was moved to G2 Esports' Inactive roster just before the start of 2026 VCT Americas Kickoff, missing out on the entirety of the tournament. However, it appears the veteran has officially found his new home in Sentinels, as both sides will look to rekindle their VCT Americas success from the 2025 season.

JonahP Returns to Tier 1

JonahP is an established veteran in the competitive VALORANT landscape. After earning his spot in the VCT Americas by winning 2023 VCT Americas Ascension with The Guard. The core of the roster was acquired by G2 Esports where they grew into one of the region's most dominant forces.

During his two years with G2 Esports in the VCT Americas, JonahP won three domestic trophies and made numerous appearances in international playoffs. However, something that continued to be a point of struggle for G2 Esports and JonahP was their inability to translate domestic success into international trophies.

Now, he will move forward with Sentinels in his quest to win his first international trophy in 2026. As for Sentinels, they will be looking to improve upon their 9th-10th place finish at VCT Americas Kickoff.

Both sides will be seeking vengeance and redemption as they go into 2026 VCT Americas Stage 1. It will be interesting to see if JonahP's addition to Sentinels will help catapult the team back to the success they found in the 2025 season. Something that is for certain is that the rivalry between G2 Esports and Sentinels is set on deeper development going into Stage 1.

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
