The Swiss Stage of the BLAST R6 Salt Lake City Major is done and dusted, and the top 8 Rainbow Six Siege teams have earned their right to compete for Major glory. After a brief single day of rest, those 8 sidestep into a ruthless single-elimination bracket, where a single series loss sends you packing. No second chances, just pure, high-stakes Rainbow Six Siege. All 4 quarterfinal matches are scheduled for May 15th, beginning at 6 PM CEST / 9 AM PDT.

Twisted Minds vs. ENTERPRISE Esports

Opening the playoffs is a clash between two of the tournament's most surprising stories. Twisted Minds entered Salt Lake City as underdogs, but they silenced every skeptic with a jaw-dropping 3-0 Swiss Stage run, beating FURIA, Weibo Gaming, and G2 Esports along the way. The driving force behind this remarkable run has been Saudi Arabian star Osama "Tr1ixd" Zahrani, who has been a constant fixture at the top of the leaderboard. This Twisted Minds side is a reminder of why EML is still a force to be reckoned with in competitive Siege.

Standing across from them is Oceania's ENTERPRISE Esports, who have been arguably the tournament's hardest-working team. Having entered through the Play-In stage, they went 3-2 in the Swiss Stage, meaning they've played the highest number of games in the tournament so far. They handled NIP, Falcons, and Weibo Gaming with relative comfort, though losses to G2 and Shopify Rebellion exposed their ceiling against elite opposition. Key performers Brendan "Brendo" Sage and Jaxen "Bapn" Dunwell have kept ENTERPRISE alive at every turn, and they'll need to deliver again here.

Even so, Twisted Minds look like the sharper side on paper, and we're backing them to advance.

G2 Esports vs. Shopify Rebellion

If there's one match that has the community buzzing ahead of the quarterfinals, it's this one. G2 Esports are firmly in title-contention mode, looking to reclaim their status as the world's best from reigning champions FaZe Clan. They navigated the Swiss Stage efficiently, beating DarkZero and ENTERPRISE, before edging out Virtus.pro after a stumble against Twisted Minds. G2 are one of those rare rosters where every single player can be the match-winner on any given day, but the spotlight will inevitably fall on new signing Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu—a long-time rival now wearing G2 colors for the first time on the Major stage. His performance in the playoffs could define G2's entire tournament.

On the other side, Shopify Rebellion have quietly put together a compelling run. Led by veteran Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski, a player whose K/D might not tell the whole story, but whose experience and silverware speak volumes. Shopify fought their way in from the Play-Ins and matched ENTERPRISE's game-count, dispatching Virtus.pro, All Gamers, and ENTERPRISE in the Swiss Stage. Their only loss came against FaZe Clan, and even then, they made it close.

This is a team game, not a one-man show, and G2 will need to bring their best to shut them down. We give the edge to G2, but Shopify won't go quietly.

FaZe Clan vs. Falcons

This is the matchup that feels the most lopsided on paper, and FaZe Clan have shown no weaknesses to suggest otherwise. The world champions stormed through the Swiss Stage 3-0, making short work of Five Fears, Shopify Rebellion, and Wildcard, and appear locked in and hungry for more silverware. Jaime "Cyber" Ramos has been exceptional. The former Major and two-time SI winner is operating at an elite level while still enabling his teammates to shine. FaZe are a complete machine, and complacency is simply not in their vocabulary.

Team Falcons, meanwhile, deserve enormous credit for making it this far. Losing their star player Shaiiko to G2 ahead of the season, they qualified through the Play-Ins and scraped into the playoffs on the final day of the Swiss Stage at 3-2. New signing Marc "jume" Steinmann has stepped up impressively, especially in elimination matches, keeping Falcons' dreams alive.

But facing FaZe Clan is a different challenge altogether. Falcons can make things uncomfortable, but FaZe remain our pick to advance.

DarkZero vs. Wildcard

The quarterfinals close out with an all-North American clash that promises fireworks. Wildcard have been the tournament's ultimate underdog story—playing with a substitute, they still upset Falcons, beat LOS, and shocked NAL champions Five Fears to earn their playoff spot. Two-time Major winner Matthew "Hotancold" Stevens stepping in definitely helped stabilize things, while Jacob "Bae94" Dowling has been their standout performer. One key motivation? Their earlier loss to DarkZero in the Swiss Stage, which they'll be desperate to avenge.

DarkZero, however, have been quietly building a convincing tournament run of their own. Outside of an opening loss to G2, they've beaten NIP, LOS, and Wildcard in succession. Former major winner and long-time DarkZero member Nick "njr" Rapier has been a consistent backbone for this side, and their chemistry and structure make them a real threat.

This one looks evenly matched, but given their prior head-to-head result, DarkZero are our pick to close it out again.

Year 11 Season 2 Reveal

Beyond the bracket, the final weekend of the event will also host the live reveal panel for Year 11 Season 2, giving fans an official first look at the upcoming operator, map changes, and gameplay updates. Viewers watching live will also be eligible for an exclusive in-game charm, so there's plenty of reason to tune in even if your favourite team gets eliminated early.

The Salt Lake City Major playoffs are shaping up to be one of the most entertaining Major weekends in recent memory. Every match on May 15th has the potential to deliver something special.
