After 3.5 years of playing in the lower tiers of Counter-Strike, The polish CS:GO legend Snax returns to the upper echelon of Counter-Strike esports. GamerLegion has announced the signing of Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski as the IGL for the Counter-Strike roster.

The storied history of Snax:

Part of the notorious Virtus Plough roster, Snax has to be one of the best Polish Counter-Strike players. Alongside NEO, Taz, Pasha and Byali, Snax was part of one of the strongest rosters in the early stages of CS:GO esports.

The squad started their journey with Universal Soldiers. It was the first time the five played together under KUBEN’s coaching. The squad later joined AGAiN and finally made their way to Virtus Pro, where they spent four years together.

During the time as Virtus Pro, Snax had amazing moments, he was amongst the top CS:GO talents in the world. The squad also won a CS:GO major together at ESL One: Katowice and numerous S-tier events.

His time on Virtus Pro was likely the best years of his professional career. He later joined MOUZ (then Mousesports) and enjoyed mediocre results. He returned to Virtus Pro but did not achieve the same feats. After his second stint on Virtus Pro, Snax spent multiple years on T2 rosters.

GamerLegion and the recent climb to success:

GamerLegion has been a prominent T2 organization in Counter-Strike Esports. The organization only rose to prominence in recent years. Their rise in ranks came with Siuhy and iM.

With the youngsters, GamerLegion secured a strong second place finish at the last CS:GO major. After their run, iM and Siuhy were acquired by Natus Vincere and MOUZ respectively. The void left by the duo was filled with volt and neaLaN.

With the new team, GamerLegion struggled to replicate their major success. The team’s premature exit from the EPL S18 was the final nail in the coffin.

With the underwhelming results, the team let go of neaLaN on 28th September. On 29th September, the team announced the addition of Snax to replace neaLaN.

Snax will bring a much needed veteran presence on the team and his experience will help the team achieve great heights.

With Snax in the roster, the GamerLegion squad will be as follows:

  • Isak “Isak” Fahlén
  • Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand
  • Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus
  • Sebastian “volt” Malos
  • Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski
  • Ashley “Ashh” Battye (COACH)

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
