After a tumultuous 2023 season, it was certain 100 Thieves Valorant would make changes. Starting with the release of Brendan “Stellar” McGrath and Derrek “Derrek” Ha. Derrek and Stellar have been an integral part of the rebuilt 100 Thieves. The decision comes after a rough year. During VCT 2023, 100 Thieves struggled individually and as a team. They were plagued with inconsistency and failed to secure an international competition.

Stellar and Derrek's 100 Thieves Valorant Journey:

Stellar and Derrek joined the squad in 2022 with Will as the part of 100 Thieves rebuilt. Led by Seangares and DDK, the new 100 Thieves took NA by storm. They won the LCQ over The Guard, Sentinels and Cloud9. A big contributor to their win was Derrek. At the event and the following ones, Derrek had insane clutch percentages. Stellar was coming into his own as a strong leader for the team.

At Valorant Champions 2022, 100 Thieves upset Fnatic in their opening game. But could not close the DRX game and lost a rematch to Fnatic concluding their 2022 run. Despite the early exit, 100 Thieves' young squad had an amazing run.

In preparation for VCT 2023, 100 Thieves brought in Cryo to replace Will. Many considered them as one of the strongest Valorant squad in the world. Their LOCK//IN run came to an end at the hands of Fnatic, the eventual winners. During the VCT Americas League the team struggled to find a footing and eventually missed the playoffs. The loss to Sentinels in the VCT Americas LCQ concluded their VCT 2022 journey.

Despite the end, 100 Thieves with Stellar and Derrek had some amazing moments. Both the players expressed their gratitude for the opportunity.

They currently are unrestricted F/A and will be looking for future offers.
