One of the most important things to remember about Collegiate Rocket League 2023 is that the season is already underway. Unlike a lot of other games, it doesn’t follow a January - December calendar. It’s probably pretty obvious that it follows college timetables too!

With the CRL 2023 Spring National Championship just 3 months away, teams will be in full preparations for the qualifiers that could lead them to victory. Not only that, but the CRL World Championship will be the final show of dominance this year. There’s plenty to come from CRL in 2023!

CRL 2023 Conferences

As usual, the new year will kick off with the Collegiate Rocket League 2023 conferences in North America. There are 2 conferences for Spring that take place in the east and west of the country. Starting in January and going on until the beginning of March, there will be a lot of hot competition as teams attempt to qualify for the National Championship in Spring.

Fans can expect the conferences to kick off in late January and continue on until March. That means plenty of opportunities to tune in and keep up with CRL. The qualifiers aren’t quite over yet so if you’re looking to get in on the ground floor, now’s the perfect time. We don’t know much, but we know that the CRL tournaments are worth your time.

University Rocketeers 2023

It’s probably best to think of the University Rocketeers as the European version of the Collegiate Rocket League 2023 conferences in the US. This tournament brings together the top university esports teams from across Europe to compete for a direct seed to the CRL Worlds.

This year’s tournament is due to take place from February 22nd - April 13th and 18 of the 40 teams have already been confirmed through their regional qualifiers. With the playoffs starting in mid March and a place at Worlds at stake, this one of the hottest tournaments in the entire Collegiate Rocket League 2023 calendar.

Collegiate Rocket League 2023 World Championship

These two regions will come together towards the end of the year for the Collegiate Rocket League 2023 World Championship. Although the dates have not yet been confirmed, there will be a prize pool of $75,000 USD at stake.

In 2022, it was Northwood University Blue that came out on top. In fact, they have one of the best track records of any team. It’ll certainly have to be one amazing team that knocks them off the pedestal!

Fans can expect the World Championship to take place this summer but as of now, it’s all speculation. There’s a long way to go for all of these teams and if you’re starved for Rocket League in the meantime, there’s always the RLCS 2023 tournament schedule to keep you going as well!
