Transition to Season Two

Before rolling into the new season, there will be a one-day Premier downtime. During this time, your CS Rating will be re-calibrated based on your performance in Season One. Once Season Two kicks off, you’ll need to re-establish your CS Rating by winning 10 matches.

What’s New in Season Two?

Season Two introduces several changes to maps, weapons, and overall gameplay. Here are the key updates:

  • Map Pool Update: Train makes its long-awaited return to the active pool, replacing Vertigo. It’s time to dust off your smokes and relearn the iconic angles on Train.
  • Weapon Adjustments: The M4A4 has received a price reduction to $2900, making it more accessible. Additionally, the FAMAS has been improved with better standing and crouching accuracy, along with a price cut. These changes aim to give players more viable options in their loadouts.

Earning the Premier Season Two Medal

When Season Two concludes after the Austin Major, players who meet the requirements will be awarded a Premier Season Two Medal. The design of this medal reflects your highest CS Rating achieved during the season, with its color corresponding to your rank.

Season Two is shaping up to be an exciting chapter for CS2 players. Whether you’re aiming to climb the leaderboard or secure your next medal, there’s no better time to sharpen your skills. With new maps, weapon updates, and another chance to prove yourself in Premier mode, Season Two promises plenty of action.

So clear your calendar, rally your teammates, and get ready to make your mark in Season Two. The grind starts soon!
