Top Esports, in an X (Formerly Twitter) Post, announced the renewal of Bai '369' Jiahao's contract a mere two hours after revealing the departure of Support player Tian 'Meiko' Ye, who had been an integral part of the team for almost a year.

The organisation followed the announcement with the addition of fomer 2019 World Champion and Weibo Gaming's  Liu "Crisp" Qing-Song as the new support for the team.

369's journey to the 'TOP'

Prior to joining Top Esports, 369 had a remarkable journey with JD Gaming, where he clinched the top spot in LPL Spring 2023 and LPL Summer 2023, as well as LPL Summer 2022 alongside an MSI trophy. His previous stint with Top Esports was equally impressive, with victories in LPL Summer 2020 and the Mid-Season Cup.

During 369's recent tenure with Top Esports, the team secured notable second-place finishes, including LPL Spring 2024, where they narrowly missed victory against Bilibili Gaming, and Esports World Cup 2024, where they fought valiantly in the finals against T1.

Their Summer was equally fruitful as they placed 3rd at LPL Summer 2024 and qualified for Worlds 2024. But they were once again stopped by T1 in the quaterfinals, placing 5th-8th to end the year.

Crisp replaces Meiko

The addition of Liu "Crisp" Qingsong piques interest, coming from Weibo Gaming, where he had notable results, finishing 3rd-4th at Worlds 2024 and securing a commendable 2nd place at the LPL Summer 2024 playoffs.

In both of these high-stakes tournaments, Weibo Gaming encountered fierce competition, ultimately losing against Bilibili Gaming, a team that Crisp had previously played for before his time at Weibo. Unfortunately, his tenure at Bilibili didn't see much success.

The transition from Weibo to Top Esports raises expectations for his impact in future tournaments, and fans are eager to see how his experience and gameplay will influence his new team and how he will mesh with 369.

As Top Esports navigates these roster changes, the continuation of 369's journey is particularly promising for the team's future. His experience and skill set are expected to provide stability and leadership, especially in the wake of Meiko's departure.

Fans are eager to see how 369 and Crisp will adapt to this new chapter and how they will contribute to shaping the team's strategies moving forward. With a track record of success behind them, there is a sense of optimism that they can guide Top Esports to new heights.
