T1 is still the final boss and Liiv SANDBOX is struggling — here's what we learned from the seventh week of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Split.

The Recall: What we learned from LCK Week 7

T1 are the winningest team in Korea, with a 13-1 series score and 27 wins in 34 games. The team's 83% Baron Nashor percentage is the only one in the league above 64%, and they're tied with No. 2 team Gen.G for most kills (482) and gold spent difference (8.9%). Like the LCS's top squads FlyQuest and Cloud9, T1 and GEN are the only two teams in their league to have no Elder Dragon attempts for or against. In Week 7, T1's average game time was the shortest of any team due to their briefly held record for fastest game of the split, which was overtaken by Hanwha Life Esports when they won in 17:57 against Nongshim RedForce on March 3 in the second fastest game in LCK history.

T1 bot laner Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong leads in gold difference (327) and CS difference (6.9) at 10 minutes, and his 143 kills rank second after GEN bot laner Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan, who's notched 158.

The Recall: What we learned from LCK Week 7

Dplus KIA and its star bot laner Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu have a few things in common, one being that both have the fewest deaths in the league: 217 for DK and 36 for Deft in 31 games. His KDA of 133/36/133, or 7.4, leads all players, along with his 35.8% kill share and 687 average damage per minute.

LSB stumbled this week, but their playoff spot is safe as long as they win one of their remaining series against GEN, DRXBRION or HLE. If LSB were to go 0-4 and BRO went 4-0 against kt Rolster, DK, LSB and NS, they would force a tiebreaker, but it seems like BRO are done for the spring.

Other notable stats

  • Three star bot laners have equal kills and assists: DK Deft with 133, GEN Peyz with 158 and KT bot laner Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram with 122.
  • GEN support Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong's 334 assists lead all players.
  • Sejuani is still the most played champion with 96 games played.
  • Ashe leads all champs with a 96.5% pick-ban rate.
  • Of all champs with more than three games played, Annie has the best score: 39/16/81, or 7.5. She went 12/1/21 this week to finish with a KDA ratio of 33.

Strafe LCK Player of the Week: T1 Gumayusi (23/3/19 in four games)

T1 Gumayusi has been overshadowed by nearly every member of his team, especially his jungler Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun and support Ryu "Keria" Min-seok, but he was dominant in Week 7. His 23 kills were tied with KT mid laner Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong for the most of any player; his KDA was the fourth best in the league and his deaths the second lowest; and his 37.1% kill share, 961 gold difference at 10 minutes, and 671 damage per minute led the league. Honorable mention to DK Deft, whose KDA of 16/2/27 (21.5) led all players.
