Mid lane is the new bot lane, and "you are not Keria" — here's what we learned from the sixth week of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Split.

Led by bot laner Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu, Dplus KIA looks to re-establish itself as a top team this split, and they currently lead in deaths and kill-death ratio with a KD of 311-201, or 1.55. Deft himself has a KDA of 117/34/106 in 27 games, which leads all players in KDA and deaths. He also has a kill percentage of 37.6% and a CS per minute of 10.1, both of which lead all players.

Not to be outdone in every statistic, T1 still leads in wins (23), losses (7), and kills (420). Their combined kills per minute (CKPM) of 0.78 leads all teams, and their CKPM this week was an absurdly high 0.94.

Gen.G's rookie bot laner Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan leads all players in kills with 136, while his support Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong leads in assists with 295. In the jungle, Han "Peanut" Wang-ho's 56.6% share of jungle CS is unmatched; this week, that number was an even higher 62.8%, and the team's lane percentage was a league-leading 51.7%, up from their standard 50.7% which ranks second.

Other notable stats

  • With a 50.8% share of lane CS, kt Rolster leads all teams.
  • DRX support Cho "BeryL" Geon-hee leads all players with 92 in 29 games; his 3.17 deaths per game rate is almost two deaths per game higher than DK Deft's top-ranked rate of 1.26.
  • Maokai leads all champions this split with 96.6% pick-ban rate.
  • Kassadin's KDA of 27/3/26 (17.7) led all champs this week, in just three games.
  • Four champs had a 100% pick-ban rate this week: Caitlyn, Ashe, Elise and Maokai. Of those four, both Maokai and Elise were banned in every game.
  • The only champ with a 100% win rate and more than two games played is Lee Sin, with a 6-0 record.
  • Sejuani leads all champions this split in games (90), deaths (215), and assists (542).
