Team Secret has unveiled its new Dota 2 roster, bringing back familiar faces to the team. After nearly four years away, Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng has returned to Secret as their midlaner, while Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan resumes his duty as the team's offlaner, now that Saieful "Fbz" Ilham's loan has expired.

There are changes to the team's support staff as well. After coaching the team for almost four years, Lee "Heen" Seung Gon will be taking a break from the team, while Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan will try his hand leading Secret for his first-ever coaching stint.

Some of Team Secret's best performances were with MidOne from 2016 to 2019. The team claimed several impressive trophies, such as taking first place in DreamLeague Season 8, MDL Disneyland® Paris Major, The Chongqing Major, and two top-six placements at The International. Without a doubt, most of MidOne's best accomplishments have been while he was playing with Clement "Puppey" Ivanov.

BOOM has had an interesting Dota 2 career so far. He was part of Team Tickels, the squad that birthed Gaimin Gladiators. After placing top 12 at The International 11, BOOM parted ways with Gaimin and eventually joined Team Secret.

His time with Secret was unsuccessful, to say the least. Secret got demoted to Division Two twice, and part of that was BOOM switching roles from mid to offlane.

Secret benched BOOM and for a time it looked like he might be leaving the team, as he played several Pinnacle Cups with another squad. It looks like his time as a bench warmer is over, as BOOM returns to the team's active Dota 2 lineup.

It'll be interesting to see how the team works out at the upcoming qualifiers for ESL Kuala Lumpur. Team Secret hasn't looked as strong since the departure of Michał "Nisha" Jankowski. Will recruiting more SEA players solve their problems? or will we see more roster changes in 2024?
