Gen.G won 3-1 against T1 on April 9, the final match day of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Playoffs at LOL Park in Seoul, South Korea.

T1 and GEN will both make their next appearances at the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational.

T1 vs. Gen.G

Game 1: GEN wins

Gen.G won Game 1 against T1 with a 22-6 victory in 37:39. Making his LCK Finals debut, GEN bot laner Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan went 14/0/3 on Xayah with the support of Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong's 0/0/17 Rakan; top laner Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon found a 1/0/11 KDA on Gragas; and mid laner Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon finished 3/1/12 on Ahri. Game 2: GEN wins

Gen.G took a 2-0 lead with a 19-9 Game 2 victory that lasted 37:28. GEN Doran picked Gragas again and went 2/1/10, Chovy's Ahri went 4/2/7; and Peyz and Delight finished 10/2/4 on Apehlios and 2/0/14 on a surprise Nautilus pick. T1 support Ryu "Keria" Min-seok found a 2/1/7 score on Lux in the losing effort. Strafe Player of the Game: GEN Doran

Game 3: T1 wins

T1 found their only victory of the day in Game 3, winning in 28:25 by a 12-9 score. T1 bot laner Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong finished 6/3/3 on Jinx and led in kills; mid laner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok was 4/1/5 on Veigar; and Keria went 0/1/7 on Tahm Kench. Game 4: GEN wins

Gen.G won their second straight LCK championship -- and second overall -- with a 19-14 Game 4 victory against T1 that lasted 34:52. GEN Peyz earned the LCK Finals MVP award with a 9/3/10 Jinx performance; jungler Han "Peanut" Wang-ho's Maokai went 2/2/10; mid laner Chovy picked Tristana and found a 5/4/11 performance; and Delight finished 1/1/18 on Lulu.
