Now is the perfect time to take a look at the RLCS 22-23 global rankings. One of the best parts of the RLCS is how unpredictable the leagues are. At the end of this month, the regional winter opens will be taking place across all 7 regions. All this will lead up to the Winter Major in April but there’s a lot to come before then! Fans can check out how the Fall season has affected that points.

While we can only really rank regionally at the moment, the RLCS 22-23 Global Rankings aren’t set in stone. In fact, they’re designed to change as the season goes on. While the teams listed would qualify for the Winter Invitational by default, there’s still a month of competition left to go.

Fall Split Major - Winners get the advantage

We’re sure that every fan will be absolutely shocked to hear that North American Fall Split Major champions Gen.G Mobil1 Racing are currently in first place overall. The brand new team entering their first ever year in pro Rocket League is off to an amazing start.

Interestingly, the Gen.G roster is made up of both European, American and Canadian players. They pretty much always dominate the RLCS rankings so to see the regions come together into one super team is a rare treat.

Top Regions in the RLCS 22-23 Global Rankings

As usual, the North American and European teams are dominating the RLCS 22-23 global rankings. That means that they will both send 3 teams to the Winter Major, while the other 5 regions will only send 2. However, with the standings looking how they are, there are a couple of the regions that are worth a mention.

South America

The Club is a South American line up made up exclusively of players from Brazil. The team is less than a year old but already, they’ve seen some pretty impressive success. In fact, their consistent first place positions in regional tournaments have landed them in second place overall.

There was a disappointing finish for them at the Fall Split Major after they finished in 12th - 14th place. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep your eye on the RLCS 2023 tournament schedule to see their performances!

Asia-Pacific

In third place in the RLCS 22-23 global rankings is James Cheese. This is another brand new team, having only been created in September 22 but they also dominated their regional tournaments. It was almost a perfectly synchronized performance with The Club as James Cheese finished 15-th - 16th in the Fall Split Major.
