It’s finally here, RL season 10 has landed and is stirring things up in the world of Rocket League. In a blog published on the official Rocket League website, they announced a brand new battle pass, a whole new arena and season 9 rewards for players. The announcement also came with a promise to fix known issues in the game. They’re relatively minor things but can certainly impact on the gameplay!

What’s new? RL Season 10 Pass

Rocket League has been updated with new seasons every few months since its release in 2015. These updates typically introduce new features, game modes, items, and changes to the game's ranking system. After much speculation about the latest developments, this update proves no different! Of course, the most exciting part of the new season is the season pass including a brand new car, tournaments, challenges and a minor competitive reset.

New car

This season’s newest car may make the list of best Rocket League cars! The Volkswagen Golf GTI will certainly help you add some spice to your games. However, this car is only for those fans of the high octane hitbox. The High Octane hitbox is generally considered to be a good choice for players who want to have a flexible and adaptable playstyle, with a focus on ball control, aerials, and speedy gameplay. Is this sounds like a bit of you, it might be worth giving it a go!

New arena

While new arenas aren’t uncommon in this game, the RL season 10 update looks really exciting. The official announcement was oddly coy on the details but Deadeye Canyon (Oasis) looks beautiful. With a sunset sky and lush greenery, it’s the perfect setting for some high intensity action!

Season 9 Rewards

Unless you’re brand new to Rocket League, you’ll be wondering how the season 9 competitive rewards will be passing into RL season 10. You’ll be able to claim rewards based on the highest rank you were able to achieve during season 9. It goes without saying that all of the rewards are untradeable but you can add a certain level of prestige to your profile:

  • Bronze I or higher: ‘S9 – Bronze’ Wheel
  • Silver I or higher: ‘S9 –  Silver’ Wheels + lower rewards
  • Gold I or higher: ‘S9 – Gold’ Wheels + lower rewards
  • Platinum I or higher: ‘S9 – Platinum’ Wheels + lower rewards
  • Diamond I or higher: ‘S9 – Diamond’ Wheels + lower rewards
  • Champion I or higher: ‘S9 – Champion’ Wheels + lower rewards
  • Grand Champion I: ‘S9 – Grand Champion’ Wheels + lower rewards
  • Supersonic Legend: ‘S9 – Supersonic Legend’ Wheels + lower rewards.

As the game continues to grow and evolve, it will be exciting to see what new features, updates, and surprises Psyonix has in store for players in the future. But one thing is for sure - the Rocket League community has received season 10 with glowing reviews and things continue to get even better!
