After a gruelling series against Ooredoo Thunder, OG has finally secured their ticket to The Berlin Major.  The team had been having some difficulties during The Spring Tour.  At one point, the relegation and the ticket to the Berlin Major were on the line. Fortunately, they come out on top going through Entity before the series.

Ooredoo Thunders put on a marvellous fight in the series. Sometimes, it seemed like OT could be triumphant, but OT couldn’t find a way to land their final blow. OG overcame the odds stacked against them somehow, and they landed the knockout punch.

Game 1

Both teams traded blows during the laning stage in game 1, but Ooredoo Thunders managed to come out ahead after the laning stage. Playing from behind, OG patiently waited for Ooredoo Thunders to make a mistake. At 24 minutes, they found their chance and slowly took control of the game. It was a close match, but OG didn’t slip up, taking objectives one after another. Eventually, at 44 minutes,  Ooredoo Thunders tapped out of game 1.

Game 2

In game 2, Ooredoo Thunders played a dominant, fast-paced game. Picking a midlane Puck backed by an offlane Venomancer, Ooredoo Thunders applied relentless aggression while their safelane hard carry Naga Siren soaks up the farm. Even though OG took a couple of successful team fights, it wasn't enough. Ooredoo Thunders were successful in snowballing their laning stage advantage to the mid-game as their Naga Siren came online. At 38 minutes,  a successful high-ground dive by Ooredoo Thunders leaves OG’s cores without buybacks, leading OG to tap out of game 2.

Game 3

Game 3 of the series was thrilling for fans as both teams held nothing back against each other. The teams made well-thought-out ganks during the laning stages. However, Ooredoo Thunders got ahead once the laning stage ended. As OG was playing from behind, they looked for any chance to get back into the game. A sneaky, quick Roshan attempt at 41 minutes gave OG a small window to get back into the game.

At 50 minutes, a smoke gank by Ooredoo Thunders caught OG off guard, but with buybacks available, OG turned the tides of the game. Eventually, at 54 minutes, OG was successful in seizing high ground and closed out game 3. Winning the series, they took their ticket to The Berlin Major.
