With the Berlin Major starting tomorrow, there have been some last-minute changes taking place. Among such news, OG's temporary roster change for the Berlin Major stands out. According to their Twitter post, their offlaner Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin, captain Evgenii "Chu" Makarov & coach Mikhail "Misha" Agatov are having visa issues. The organization, along with ESL is working on appeals to get the visas accepted by the end of this week. Regardless, they mentioned OG is prepared for any disappointments that come their way.

Regional Qualifiers

OG had swapped roles with their coach Evgenii "Chu" Makarov and captain Mikhail "Misha" Agatov, as requested by Misha himself. With that came some struggles in adapting to the play style. But they overcame this struggle and pushed through tie-breakers to earn their spot in the Berlin Major. While the team was battling with possible relegation, they started filling out visa applications for DMMisha, and Chu.

With the support of ESL to obtain visas, DM's got accepted on returning to Moscow. Misha and Chu received appointments in Serbia. Visas getting ready and the team getting prepared, everything felt good about the Major, until last week. That is when they found out that all three applications were declined.

Stand-ins

With the Berlin Major only a few days away, OG had to make some quick decisions to fill DM and Chu's spots. While they work on obtaining visas, OG reached out to Nigma Galaxy & Old G for support. With a helping hand, MinD_ContRoL will take DM's spot and Kitrak in the place of Chu.

It is no doubt that these players meet each other regularly in pubs and are familiar with their play styles. Hopefully, this will be enough for this temporary roster to bond and show some amazing Dota in the Major.

As of now, this is the current roster for the Berlin Major,

  • Yuragi
  • BZM
  • MinD_ContRoL
  • Taiga
  • Kitrak

Other Major Changes

9Pandas

This new organization formed with the Ex-HellRaisers roster is also having some Visa issues. Solo's visa process is being delayed and will be replaced by RodjER during the first few games of the tournament. The team is hopeful that the issue will be resolved before the start of the Berlin Major.

BetBoom Team

BetBoom's carry Pure will not be attending the Major due to visa issues as well. Resolut1on will be their stand-in at the major but for Pos3. Nightfall will be playing Pos1. Let's see how this turns out, as the team is excited to be playing alongside Resolut1on.

Team Aster

On April 14th, Aster's midlaner Xwy was moved to the inactive roster. The reasons for this occurrence are not known. But either way, the team will be attending the Berlin major. King SumaiL will be filling in for their midlaner.
