In a thrilling series that lasted four maps, MOUZ took down Team Falcons to lift the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 trophy.

Let's take a look at what went down on the final day of the tournament.

Astralis takes down FaZe Clan

As a prelude to the PGL Cluj-Napoca Grand Finals, Astralis took on FaZe Clan in the 3rd place bo3 decider. The game started on Mirage with both sides going pound for pound, tying up in regulation. The back and forth continued as the two teams played 28 more rounds before FaZe claimed a 28-24 victory over the Danish side.

On Astralis’ Inferno, CadiaN and co. secured a 9-3 half and converted it into a 13-8 victory, pushing FaZe to a third map. Ancient saw the first half with both teams winning six rounds.

Astralis' managed to capitalise on FaZe’s mistakes in the second half and secured 13 rounds to win the series 2-1.

With the win, Astralis placed third ahead of FaZe Clan, a team that has consistently held on to the top of Counter-Strike esports.

MOUZ win over NiKo’s Falcons

The Bo5 Grand Finals started on Dust 2, where MOUZ dominated the first half, winning 8 out of the 12 rounds. They closed out the game 13-6, winning their opponents' map pick. Team Falcons came back stronger, winning Mirage 13-4, equalising the series 1-1.

Nuke was the most exciting map of the series, with MOUZ winning their CT half 9-3. Team Falcons did attempt a comeback, but MOUZ completely overwhelmed the defense in the final round, winning the map 13-11.

The fourth map, Ancient, had the two teams exchanging blows, with MOUZ edging out Team Falcons in the first half. Brollan’s squad extended the two-round lead to five in the second half. They comfortably converted it to a swift 13-9 victory.

With the map win, MOUZ lifted their first trophy under the new leadership.

Despite their loss, Team Falcons were able to show some good Counter-Strike and managed to upset FaZe Clan the previous day, a team that was primed to win PGL Cluj-Napoca.

The teams will now prepare for upcoming ESL Pro League S21 Play-ins that starts in six days. Stay tuned on Strafe for all the latest updates on the upcoming tournament.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers.
