Dplus KIA won 2-0 against BRION and Gen.G beat Kwangdong Freecs 2-1 on Feb. 16, the second day of Week 5 of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Split at LOL Park in Seoul, South Korea.

Dplus KIA won Game 1 against BRION in 32:11 by a 9-5 score. DK midlaner Heo "ShowMaker" Su earned Player of the Game honors for his 4/0/3 LeBlanc, toplaner Kim "Canna" Chang-dong went 2/0/2 on Fiora, and jungler Kim "Canyon" Geon-bu added a 0/0/3 score on Wukong. Dplus KIA won their series against BRION with a 15-2 victory in 31:54 in Game 2. DK ShowMaker played well once more, going 5/1/5 on Taliyah, and Canna finished 4/1/4 on Renekton. In the jungle, Canyon's Vi went 2/0/6, and in the bot lane, Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu's Aphelios was 4/0/3 and Kim "Kellin" Hyeong-gyu's Lulu was 0/0/11. Gen.G won 12-5 against Kwangdong Freecs in 29:30 in Game 1. GEN toplaner Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon finished 5/1/4 on Gnar, and midlaner Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon finished 3/2/5 on Viktor. GEN's botlaner Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan and support Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong finished 3/0/3 on Caitlyn and 1/0/8 on Karma respectively. KDF midlaner Lee "BuLLDoG" Tae-young picked the LCK's first ever Annie mid and went 3/4/2 on it, and his team only secured one dragon, one Rift Herald and one tower. Kwangdong Freecs evened up their series against Gen.G with a 18-10 victory in a Game 2 that lasted 35:10. KDF BuLLDoG picked Annie mid again, this time going 3/1/9 on the pick. With a 28:51 victory against Kwangdong Freecs in a 22-12 Game 2, Gen.G secured the series win to tie T1 in total series wins with 7.
