Advancing to face T1 or Gen.G, kt Rolster won 3-1 against Liiv SANDBOX on March 22, the first match day of Round 1 of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Playoffs at LOL Park in Seoul, South Korea.

Game 1: KT wins

In a 13-5 Game 1 that lasted 29:27, kt Rolster defeated Liiv SANDBOX. KT jungler Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan earned Player of the Game honors for his 6/2/6 Xin Zhao performance, and top laner Kim "Kiin" Gi-in went 2/1/6 on Malphite. KT bot laner Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram and support Son "Lehends" Si-woo went 4/0/2 on Zeri and 0/1/6 on Blitzcrank. LSB's only major objectives were a drake and a Rift Herald. Game 2: LSB wins

Liiv SANDBOX fought back in Game 2 with an 18-12 win in 28:32. LSB bot laner Lee "Envyy" Myeong-joon finished with a 7/3/7 performance on Aphelios and led in kills; jungler Kim "Willer" Jeong-hyeon found a 5/2/8 Wukong KDA; and support Kim "Kael" Jin-hong added a 3/3/10 score on Thresh. On the losing side, KT Cuzz went 3/2/5 on Vi and secured Soul Point, a Herald and three towers for his team. LCK Player of the Game: LSB Envyy, 100 points

Game 3: KT wins

Taking back their series lead, kt Rolster beat Liiv SANDBOX in 27:41 in Game 3 and led 15-1 in kills. KT Cuzz won his second POTG award of the night for a 1/0/13 Sejuani performance despite Kiin going 8/1/4 on Urgot; mid laner Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong notched a 1/0/9 score on Veigar; and Aiming and Zeri went 5/0/6 on Zeri and 0/0/8 on Rakan. LSB only took two Heralds and a drake. LCK Player of the Game: KT Cuzz, 200 points

Game 4: KT wins

With a 10-3 win against Liiv SANDBOX in 34:17 in Game 4, kt Rolster advanced to the second round of the 2023 LCK Spring Playoffs, where they'll face T1 if picked by the top squad and GEN if they're not. KT Kiin went 1/1/9 on Malphite; Cuzz found a 3/1/3 on Xin Zhao; Bdd's Ahri found a score of 1/0/7; Aiming led in kills on his 4/1/6 Zeri; and Lehends added a 1/0/7 KDA on Rakan. In the loss, LSB top laner Noh "Burdol" Tae-yoon went 1/2/2 on K'Sante. LCK Player of the Game: KT Kiin, 100 points
